Teen Titans: A New Friend or Foe (completed)

~Titans Tower, 6:48 am ~

Through out the tower was silent, mostly because the Titans were still asleep, all except Robin and his visitor.

"I don't see why you think helping us is a sign of weakness" Robin spat at his old mentor standing right in front of him, none other than The Bat himself.

"I don't think it's weak, I think you need to look harder for whatever this is for. If it's so bad, why didn't you mention it at all?" At this point Batman was almost shouting
He watched as Robins gaze fell to the floor.

"Jester" he muttered "he's back, I don't have a clue why....I have no leads after two of his appearances and he's too crazy to talk logic." Robin said with a sigh

Batman was shocked to hear that name again. Jester. So you have come back, after two years...
"If Jester is here then Joker must not be far away." Batman paused
" get your team." He spoke with a tone of urgency

"Why?"

"Just get them! I will explain"

Roughly fifteen minutes later the team was all there, tired and yawning on the couch. The Bat wasn't there or not yet.

"What's the deal?" Beast boy yawned "it's Saturday....and I don't wake up before 10 on Saturdays"

Raven rolled her eyes at beast boy and spoke in her raspy voice "idiot if you wouldn't spend the entire night playing video games you wouldn't be so tired."

"I was on a date!" Beast boy explained
"With your virtual girlfriend" raven said smoothly

"Ooooooooohhh, she got you good BB!" Cyborg said laughing as Beast boys face flushed
As soon as Robin walked in the whole place seemed to quiet. Not because of Robins presence but because the lurking shadow behind him.

"This is your team?" Batman asked knowing they were a bunch of teens, but so was Jester and here he was, dangerous as ever and in Jump City. Compaired to everyone, Jester was a heathen. He didn't fit in and part of that reason was the Bat himself.

Batman looked at the teens that Robin called Titans. One was short and green, another was in a violet cloak she looked pale, to the left was a husky brown skinned one half made of metal, the last one was floating she had emerald eyes. I wouldn't blame Robin if she was his special girl (I don't ship it but Bruce does :3 ) 

"Yes, it is my team. I'm guessing you were excpecting the Justice League?" Robin said snapping Batman out of thought

"No. They'll work fine if they listen to orders" the crusader said simply

"Um" Starfire said "I apologise if I am intruding, but who is the man next by Robin?"

"Star, you are looking at the best hero ever! Protector of Gotham, the Dark Night, The Batman!" Beast Boy said not knowing he was being a total fan boy 

Batman narrowed his eyes. "I appreciate the introduction but we have serious matters to discuss"

Having Batman in the Tower seemed to shift the mood quite fast. The Titans weren't used to having so much tension around them. Robin rarely ever nagged to them about villains, the only villain the Titans remember spending a full week trying to stop was Slade. Batman however seemed used to it. Within 5 minutes the whole team was paying close attention to what the dark night had to say. 

"Robin told me you guys had an encounter with Jester" batman said getting faces of confusion from the four teens

Robin explained to his team, "He was the one we fought a couple days back, on the roof of the computer store"
