Teen Titans: A New Friend or Foe (completed)

=Titans Tower, 10:26 pm=

The tower was silent a minute ago. Within two seconds the alarm had gone off, indicating trouble in Jump City. The team, -including the Bat- huddled into the living room.

"Who attacks at 10:30 on a week day?!" Beast boy squealed in anger

"Try every other villain we face, BB" Cyborg replied

"Will you two please hush" Robin said, the day had been quite stressful

As Robin typed on the computer the team fell into hero mode. Robin pulled up a map of the city. A building labelled Wayne Industries was highlighted, meaning something had tripped the security alarm. By now Robin had pulled up a camera view of the inside of the building, it had already been shattered, no longer recording but producing static.

"Damn" Robin cursed under his breath

"Titans." He said much louder than his curse "We need to see who broke into Wayne Industries. And fast."

"I'm coming" Batman said, cowl over face ready to leave

"No we can handle it" Robin replied, he wanted to prove it was his team and that they can fight evil

"I don't want to come because I don't think you can handle it. You don't know who attacked the building. What if it was Jester? I need to see him if he's as bad as you say he is." Batman paused "You know what he is to me."

"You can come along Man of Bats. Robin will not mind...will you?" Star fire chimed in

"I guess, Star" Robin agreed "Titans...and Bruce...let's head out!"

Within two minutes, the tower was silent again.

=Wayne Industries, 10:34 pm=

Jester popped up from a vent and landed on the roof of Wayne Industries.

"Ugh. I hate this place, too many unwanted memories." He muttered to himself not knowing he had an audience.

"Your rein of crime is over Jester!" An unforgettable voice called out. Jester turned and his face lit up with insanity.

"Batsy, Batsy, Batsy! I was wondering when you'd visit me. Long time no see?" He chuckled "I'll tell you what I see, I see bird boy and his daddy Bat fighting once again." He laughed and threw down smoke bombs to cloud his escape.

Jester bolted across the building and down to the next. He fiddled with his weapons, searching for the right one. He hadn't gotten used to the new costume. He was always searching for the correct weapon, and his arms were exposed. He disliked it.

As Jester was distracted, he ran into a sturdy wall of muscle which happened to be the Bat himself.

"Jester please stop. We've had this scenario a dozen times. I can help you. We can get you an adopted family, a real family, and you can become sane." Batman said almost sympathetic

"Touchè Bats. Little too late, I'm not ever slipping into sanity or a family. I have who I need in my life already!" He smirked and chuckled as he ducked and oncoming punch.

Jester stepped back and held out sharp weapons much alike shuriken and threw them at the Bat or he was until he got bear hugged from a half tin man.

"Hey!" He kicked and shouted "Let me go, it's not fair this way!"

"Sorry dude" Cyborg said "you need serious help"

Jester rolled his eyes and kicked up and back, hitting Cyborg in the face. Jester smirked, then he received a tackle from Robin. The two wrestled on the floor, rolling and switching who was on top.
