As we started reaching the gates, I was dazzled by the look of it.

"Hey Taka," Sammy said, "do you want to meet some of my friends once we're in?"

"Sure," I reply softly. then I whispered low enough for him not to here, "as long as they're cool."

Sam and I finally reached the gates and he whistled a complex tune. Once finished, I could hear the rusty gears turning and saw the gates open. Sam kept walking until someone called out to him.

"SAMMY!" a girl's voice calls out. Then I start to hear footsteps. When I turn around I'm greeted by a sort of young girl tackling Sammy's back. He rocks back and forth but quickly regains his balance. The girl that had tackled him possessed shining silver orbs, brown hair pulled into a ponytail and light skin like Sam's.

"Hey, Sammy! Hey...." she dragged out wanting me to finish.

"Taka," I say with a small smile.

"Well hi Taka, I'm Macy, Sam's sister," she says with a shining smile on her face.

Sammy immediately butts in, "Little sister to be exact, but Macy what are you doing roaming the streets. I thought you had training with Ace?"

"I did, but," Macy drags on a little, "He said I could go hang out with Luca for the rest of the day."

As Sammy and Macy started talking I realized we were in the plaza. A bunch of merchant booths was set up. I started to look through a few stands until I stopped at a jewelry booth. Inside a glass case was a turquoise jewel on a silver chain. I quickly asked the merchant how much it was. He said 120 gold coins and 10 silver coins. I sighed in defeat knowing I probably couldn't buy it. Before I was able to leave the stand, a pair of lightly tanned fingers on my face caught my attention.

"Uh excuse me miss," a boy with flared up black and red hair said.

   "Yes, sir?" I asked questioningly.

"I wanted to ask if you liked the necklace up there?" the boy said pointing to the necklace.

"Yes, it's my favorite color, also my name is Taka," I said holding out my hand for him to shake. All I got was a nod in return and he started walking to the jewelry booth. I looked at him buy the necklace I wanted. Inside myself, I could feel anger boiling. I was about to walk away but before I could both Sammy and the rude purple eyed dude grabbed my shoulder. I looked at the boy and was on the verge of saying something until my thoughts were interrupted.

"Hey, I'm Jax!" He says with a smile putting the silver chain and jewel around my neck. All I could do was say thank you with a confused expression, then he walked off. I looked at Sam and saw he was about to die from holding in his laughter. Sooner or later he began to let out deep chuckles. I was about to speak but interrupted once again. I let out a frustrated sigh but still listened.

"So Taka," he says finally calming down, "I see you've met my second in command, Jax."

I let out a sigh, "So that means  You rule over Hazel?"

He starts laughing some more, "No actually I'm just head of the guarding department."

"So who rules over Hazel then?" I say very curiously.

"Don't worry, you'll see soon enough," he finishes the conversation by beginning to walk once again. Well that tells me so much information, right?
