Chapter One

Nine Months Later

28th August 2019.

Oliver walks out of a forest and back to the campfire, Esme, Math, and Favour are sat on logs in the sun by the campfire. He drops a Rabbit, then starts to cook it.

Oliver: Who's hungry? 

Esme: Me, I could eat a horse.

Oliver: We had that yesterday.

Favour: It's lucky that animals aren't infected.

Oliver: I bloody hope not

Kate comes walking over and sits by Oliver.

Kate: Any luck?

Oliver: No. I haven't found her.

Kate: Fuck. 

Oliver: Kate, maybe she's gone.

Kate: She's got to be out there.

Oliver: I'm sure she is.

Kate: You don't even care. You never liked her.

Oliver: Differences aside, she was still part of the group.

Esme: Kate, Oliver's right. It's been nine months since she went missing.

Kate: She ran away. I'm sure she's still alive.

Math: Kate, she's gone. I'm sorry.

Kate: How have you guys lost hope? 

Kate walks back inside the house.

Oliver: She doesn't see it. 

Math: No. she doesn't.

Esme: As we've been saying there's no point going anymore.

Oliver: I do it for Kate. I just feel It's only right.

Favour: Can you believe it's almost been a year?

Math: Has it? I've not been keeping count.

Oliver: Anyway, come inside. I have to talk to you all.

Oliver walks into the home and yells for Kate and Abigail. Everybody walks into the kitchen and stands around this large map. 

Oliver: So as you all know, I've been searching for Georgina since she disappeared.  

Oliver: I haven't found anything. I honestly have no idea where she'd be or if she's alive.

Abi: Then why are you still doing it?

Abi: I mean she was horrid to you.

Oliver: Abi, I get where you're coming from but that's not the point. She's still a human with a life, like us.

Favour: But come on, It's been months.

Kate: Just because you guy's didn't like her doesn't mean we should give up.
