CHAPTER THIRTEEN:
Mianas POV :
It was sunday morning and its time for my family to leave. They have been here for five days and now they are leaving. Briana was upstairs saying goodbye to her grandma and aunt Sabrina. Brandon was helping Derrick take luggage to the car so he can take them to the airport. I was watching when I remembered that I forgot to talk to my mom about the Brandon thing. I should do it now before they leave so I made my way up the stairs. When I got up there Briana was walking into her aunt Sabrina's room. I knocked on my moms door and walked in. She was trying to get one of her suitcases zipped up. So I went over to help her.
"Here mom let me help." I said grabbing the zipper and eventually getting it zipped.
"Thanks baby your a bunch of help." she says kissing my cheek.
"Your welcome ma and I wanted to talk to you really fast before you leave." I said sitting on the bed.
"Whats up? Talk to me. " she said sitting down next to me on the bed.
"Well its about Brandon." I said looking down
"He was cheating on you. I told you he was no good Miana. You dont listen! Where is he?" she yells and gets up
"Seeee look mom ! Hes not cheating! You always try to find a way to break us up. Hes a good man and he has never done anything to hurt me. You need to get that in your head ! You just dont care that we have been married for 14 years. Its not just because we had Briana we were married before we had Briana and we actually love each other and im sick and tired of you always treating him like that! Its a shame that im finally letting this out 14 years later but I have to. If you cant get the fact that we are happily married and love each other I dont think you should come around anymore. Yes hes black and no hes not like everyone else. Hes a perfect husband and perfect father and honestly I cant see myself with no one else." I yelled at my mom letting all my anger out I even had tears rolling down my face. I felt bad but she needed to know. She just stood there lost without words. Then finally she said something.
"Miana. Im sorry I just had big dreams for you and visions of your future that I just never wanted this to sink in. But now I see that you guys are truly in love. It wasnt that he was black its just I saw you marrying a total different person in my head. Im sorry and I want to be around you and Briana and my new grandson and even Brandon." she said hugging me and wiping my tears away.
"Thanks mama and Im sorry for yelling at you." I said hugging her back and smiling. Yeah im mean and I yell. I can yell at anyone but my mom I just feel bad and if it wasnt for her I wouldnt be here.
"Its okay baby I needed some since in this old head of mine. Now come on help me take this luggage downstairs before they leave me."She said grabbing the luggage. Briana and Sabrina must be down here ready because they werent across the hall when we came out. We got down the stairs and everyone was at the door saying there goodbyes because they had to hurry before they missed their flight. I hugged my mom then Sabrina and last Derrick.
"See you guys in April Mayish." I says as my family and Brandon was walking out the door. Bj is expected to come in April because right now im 4 months 9 months will be April. Me and Briana watched them get into the car and pull off. We closed the door and looked at each other.
"Wanna help me put the baby stuff away?" I asked her
"Sure." she said shrugging her shoulders. We walked back to my room because thats where the baby stuff was. We grabbed the bags from my closet and took them upstairs to his room. which is diagonally across from Brianas room. The room was now white and empty but Brandon and I are suppose to decorate it soon. We opened the closet and started taking the clothes out.
