Briana's POV:
Its the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! It was the end of the day and I just finsihed cleaning my locker. Even after I turned in all my books back to my teachers, I still had two bags worth of stuff in my locker. Sarah had just finished cleaning out her locker too and then we both closed our lockers and took our locks off.
"Bitch we done with the 7th grade." Sarah said to me.
"Ikr, even though we act like we just finished our freshman year." i said laughing.
"That just mean were mature for our age." she said. Just as I was about to reply Jasmine popped up at her locker, I guess to clean it out. She looked at us, looked down and then start turning her lock. Sarah and I found out that the rumor about her and Chris going out was a lie. The truth was that he asked her out and she said no. The other day me and Sarah were talking about her and we actually do miss her a lot. I was gonna talk to Jasmine later about this but this seems like the only chance I have since Ill be leaving for California on Friday and today is Wednesday. I looked at Sarah and she shook her head yes and I looked back at Jasmine. I turned around and gave Sarah my two bags I had from my locker and turned back around to Jasmine. I walked over to her and tapped her shoulder. She stopped what she was doing and looked at me.
"Can we talk?" I said and she closed her locker.
"Yea." She said and looked down then at me.
"Okay I don't want to fight or not talk to each other anymore and just walk pass each other like we weren't bestfriends before. But you know for a fact that what you did was wrong! I was with you that whole weekend and you were texting him that whole weekend. I even asked you who it was and you lied! That's not what bestfriends do at all! That really hurt. That was my boyfriend and we weren't even broken up that long. That wasn't right." I told her and waited for to respond.
"I know I am really sorry. I was wrong for not telling you I know. But intentionally it wasn't meant to be like that. He meant to text you but accidently texted me and that's how it started. It was just friends I promise. And when you asked me on the bus is when he started flirting and stuff. And I thought if I told you , you would be upset. So I lied and I messed up I know im sorry. I miss you guys a lot and even though we won't see each other this summer I want to leave here and know that you guys are still my bestfriends. " she finished and she took a deep breath as if she's been waiting to tell me that.
"Of course were still your bestfriends." Sarah said stepping up closer to us.
"But don't do that dumb shit again. Really, it did hurt me." I said to her reaching for a hug. She nodded her head and gave me a hug and we hugged for what seemed like 5 minutes but it was only thirty seconds. We let go and we all started walking for the door.
"So what's the plans this summer?" Jasmine asked.
"Well I'm going to L.A. with my grandma." I say smiling hard because I'm excited.
"I'm going to Cali too, but in Oakland." Sarah adds on.
"With your grandparents? Isn't that the Ghetto part?" Jasmine say laughing.
"Yes it is, Bri is lucky she's going to L.A." she said rolling her eyes.
"Oh damn, well I'm gonna be home. Most of it, then camp." Jasmine said shrugging her shoulders.
"Camp is still fun right?" Sarah asked her.
"Yeah just because I have friends there." She said. Walking out of the school I see my moms car outside. And I hug the girls and tell them I love them and we go our separate ways. I walk to my moms Range and I got inside.
