So its been some months now and ever since I gave Chris my number we have been talking alot. But we are just friends, well we call each other bestfriends though. I had to ask the girls if I can call him bestfriend though and they said sure because they know they come first. It happened at Sarahs party, like a month ago. She finally turned 13. But anyways it was thanksgiving break so we had the week off. My grandma and my antie and uncle is coming down here for thanksgiving from California. We were gonna go up there but my mom doesnt want to until the baby is born. They should get here in the morning. Me, my mama, grandma, and my auntie are cooking. I cant wait to see them. I was laying in my bed and my phone started ringing, I looked at it and it said "Bestie❤" it was Chris. I answered it.
"Heyy Bestfriend." I say excited
"Hey Bestie, wyd ? " he asked me
"Nothing, in my room laying down." I say
"You so lazy, you always laying down you gone get fat ! " he tell me laughing
"I been doing this all my life and still the same size." i tell him
"mhhmm. Go tell your daddy and your mama I said hi ! " he said
"No" i said simply
"Why not?" he asked
"Idk if im suppose to be talking on the phone with you and my mom dont like you" i said to him
"Aint yo mama white?" he asked me laughing
"yeah, why whats funny?" i asked him curious
"she dont like me cause im black." he said laughing. I couldnt talk at that second I was dying laughing.
"Omg Chris, if she didnt like black people she wouldnve married my dad or like me. Thats my grandma that dont like black people. Cause at first she didnt like my dad." I inform him because all of my moms side is white if you didnt know. I mean she is white.
"You not black!" he yelled
"yes i am asshole!" i say to him
"your mixed" he says
"Right dumb ass meaning im black and white." i say laughing. After that we talked for about 10 more minutes and then I heard my mom call me.
"Brii !!!!" my mom yelled up the stairs.
"Hey I gotta go ill call you later." I say and hung up not letting him say anything. I wasnt trying to get in trouble again. I walked out my room and stood at the top of the stairs.
"Yeah mama?" i say
"Me & your dad are going to the ultrasound. Wanna go?" she asked me
"Yeaah, sure." i say excited.
"Hurry and get dressed its chilly out so dont wear summer clothes." she say to me.
"Alright." I say and go to my room and get dressed. We werent going anywhere Special like that So I threw on some blue hollister sweat pants and a White Tank top. From my jewelry box I grabbed a forever21 bracelet and necklace and put it on. I looked in the mirror and saw my hair looked a mess. I brushed it up in a high messy bun but at the sametime made sure It was cute. I went to my closet and grabbed my black toms and put them on also grabbing my purse and putting my phone in it. I looked in the mirror and noticed that I will never grow I will be 4'8 and 119oz forever ! I turned off my light and went downstairs. My mom was sitting on the couch and my dad was standing on the door.
