I am on the phone when Ecklie walks in to my offices. He gives he the look I hang up the phone he asks " why did you call Avery Rayan in on an missing officer case." I can tells he's in a mood  " look Archie was having problems came  tracing Ambers phone so I asked her to come in and give us a hand" "ok fine you need to clear these thing with me first!! " Ecklie storms out of my office.

I get a page from Avery saying " she's got something " i run past nick straight to the AV lab I nearly knock Ecklie over he follows me to the lab everyone is huddling around Avery and her computer. I push everyone out of the way. Avery is typing something on her laptop when she yells " yes I got you, you son of a bitch."

She turns around and looks at " here's her location" Ecklie gives me a looks I yell " call brass now" everyone is running around. I bump in to fin on the way " hey Allison's is in the break room shes really worried is there anything I can tell her " I answer her as we're waking down the hall " tell her later we got to go now" we walk out to the garage I ride with Mac and Avery, nick, fin and Sara ride in the next car and brass Morgan and Greg are in the last SUV.

The address is an old cash only motel. We get there, I can see the tangiers sign from the parking lot, the place looks like is going to fall down at any minute. Brass has his men surround the motel. We wait for swat team to arrive.

Whenever your in a hostage situation there's alway the option to try to talk the person down of go in full tactical. In this situation we decide the going in is right away is the best option.

sergeant Gregory Parker arrived, he took command of the scene, he pulls myself, Mac, Brass,Ecklie and Avery aside and asks " so what's the situation"  I talk first " one of my CSIs is in there with and extremely dangerous woman,she's the broken heart killer." He gives me a look. Avery speaks up " she's extremely unstable and very dangerous, shes coming down from a manic episode Her behaviour will be extremely erratic ." He nods and walks back to the van. Within minutes his team are getting ready to go in to action.

First they throw a smoke bomb in the door way and clear the hall some officers follow them in, brass goes as well. It's hard waiting out here doing nothing. We can hear over the radios what's going on in side then some one shoots at us from the second level of the motel. Everyone try's to find cover Avery, Mac and I use the SUV as cover. We all start firing up at the second level.

Five minutes later the shooting stops I stand up to see if everyone on is ok. Mac and Avery stand up as well. I hear a single shot, I turn a around to see Mac bleeding on the ground with a bullet in his shoulder. I radio brass and tell him to " get up the second floor and see what the hell so going on." There's an ambulance on standby waiting. So the paramedics are quick to respond to Mac. Fin goes with him to the hospital.

Brass gives us the ok to go in. I head up stairs there's a machine gun pointing out the window directly at us. One of the officers says " it's rigged to start shooting when motion sensor is set off." We all look at him " I saw a bunch of these in Iraq" then he walks out. Everyone meets in the main lobby. We're all walking towards the back when we hear a muffled screams coming from under the floor.

Brass looks at me and his men instantly start looking for a hole in the floor boards. They were finally able to track down the manger brass asks " is there a basement " he says " yes " I yell " how do we get in to it " it's..... its....over there." We all run to wear he points.

It's a pull out hatch in the floor. it took three of us to pull the door up. We burst in brass and myself are first in then Avery and fin follows us. We walk in the stairs are old and creaky, the room smells old and musty. We walk down a hall then there's a side room and we can hear muffled noises .

Brass kicks down the door she's duck taped to a pole in the middle of the room. We run up to amber shes slipping in and out of consciousness bleeding, her shirts open as well.

She wakes up she try's to move fin and I hold her down amber try's to say something. I lean in " behind you." Fin and I look at each other we both pull our guns out Cassandra runs at us the a bat and we fire. She lays on the ground, amber is slipping in and out consciousness still. I radio an ambulance fin and I cut the tape off her wrist and ankles. We carry her out to the EMTs Avery riders with her to the hospital.
