The cavalry

I stare out the window for an hour just thinking about what will happen if I die witch will probably happen, she's already killed at least 10 people that we know of. so it's likely that she will do the same with me. All I can think about is Allison. She's already lost everyone our father, our mother and now she's going lost me as well.

I am deep in though when the door opens. She has the bat in her hand again. " what are your CSI friends going to do now." She gets really close to my face I spit in her face I can tell that pissed her off a lot. She look me and turns her head to the side and starts to laugh.

Then she takes the bat and hits me in the shoulder I scream, she hits me again in the rids the pain shoots though my body like nothing I have ever had before. I have a high pain tolerance but this was so thing that I have never felt before. At first I try to struggle but I just give up.

There's no use in fighting her she's has me over powered. I scream at the top of my lungs to the point of my throat stats to hurts. I start to cry I didn't think that I could still cry at this point.

I see light coming form down the hall. I hear foot prints from what sounds like people walking down old squeaky stairs. Cassandra looks back at the door then she moves the bat back and forth hear my head. She swings its hits me in the head I am stunned and she steps in to the back conner of the room where there is no light.

The door bursts open there's lights. I am so stunned. Fin and Russell are leaning over me I try to wake up. The only words I am able to say " behind you" I black out, when I come to again when there's multiple gun shots sounds.

I see Cassandra hit the ground with a thud. I can feel them moving me around, it feels weird like I am having an out of body experience.

I wake up in the ambulance there's a woman with blond hair. I try to sit up but she pushes me back down. I pull my oxygen mask off. " who are you ?" I ask she smiles " Avery rayan"

Avery ------ " Russell wanted me to ride with you"

Amber ---- " you your the famous Avery rayan genius FBI agent and ex-shrink"

Avery ----- " well I don't know about that but thanks "

Amber ---- " what's the hell happen anyway ?"

Avery ----- " I was able to trace your video chat to your location"

That when I realize that Mac had been shot

Amber ----- " wait what happen to Mac is he ok"

Avery ----- " he's ok he's at the hospital he's going to fine"

I fall back down on the bed. were are the hospital ten minutes later. They wheel me in. They wheel around the hospital poking me and running a lot of test.

Once I get back to a room Avery walks in to the room. I hate feeling so helpless laying there in the hospital. She sits beside me.

Amber ------ " your a shrink right like you fix people's issues"

Avery ----- " that's a way of looking at it. Why what's on your mind"

Amber ----- " I know do t what to do there's no way that I can go back to CSI."

Avery ----- " well you have been through a lot this year it's normal for you to have doubts about returning to CSI"

Amber ----- " it's not the point of returning to the lab, it's that I've been wanting to make a change in my career in law enforcement."

We are interrupted. Allison runs in she jumps on the bed. Russell and fin follow her in. She looks at we both start to cry " I was so scared " I she says to me. " I know so was eye" I hug her tight.

I send Allison out to get me some jello for the cafeteria. After Allison walks out of my room. I ask " is she dead" they look at each other. Russell speaks up " yes she's dead" there's way of relief that washes over me.

Mac hobbles in to  my room he smiles. Fin stands up so Mac can sit. He asks "are you ok " I smile " well I feel like I have been drugged, beaten kidnapped but I am loving the morphine " everyone laughs.

Brass looks me " so we need to talk " everyone starts to walk out. Allison stays behind. I ask fin " can Allison stay with you till I get out of here" " ok no problem " Allison looks at me she gives me a hug then walks out.

Brass ----- " so "

Amber ----- " well she grabbed me in the parking lot. We drove for a bit not sure how long till we spun out. She knocked me out then I woke up in another vehicle. I thought I was in a warehouse. She had me tied to a poll, then she gave me something in a bottle I think it was special K or ketamine. Then this guy walks in"

Tears start to stream down my face brass squeeze me hand.

Amber ---- " he tied to pull my clothes off. I was able to fight back and then he tried to strangle me. She came in and shot the guy, he looked like ex-military there's probably another body out there. Then you guys found me"

Brass gets up " we good I ask " he nods and walks out. I try sleep for an hour but than nick walks in with a bag of Chinese food. He pulls up a chair then hands me my food. We talk for a bit then he looks at the time " oh it's 6 o'clock time for foot ball" he turns the tv on and we watch the game it's the Dallas cowboys vs the Green Bay packers. Nicks a Dallas fan where I am a Green Bay fan.

We watch the game but I don't see the end I fall a sleep.
