Allison and I are packing up the house. When I hear a car pull up. The door swings open I pull my spare gun out and nearly shoot Russell in the chest. I laughs " I surrender don't shoot " he yells " I am sorry " " it's ok " Allison runs up and gives Russell a hug.
I ask him " what's up " " I am here to drive you to the airport " I hug Russell he help Allison and I put our things in the van. The car ride is about an hour long. Once In the car Russell starts a conversation.
Russell ----- " what did you do with your sweet truck? "
Amber ----- " sorry Russell I sold it and the house and all our stuff "
Russell ------ " so you got a place to stay in DC?"
Amber ----- "the FBI gave me a travel allowance and the cash from the house and the truck. I found a great apartment with a community pool and gym."
Russell ----- " that's great "
We get to airport Russell let's us out at our terminal. We get there Russell hugs me " take care and call" Allison and I walk in to the waiting area for our plane. Allison looks at me " are you ok "
I smile some time I feel like she's talking care of me when I should be taking care of her " I am ok I am happy I am about to start a new job a new life"
there's an announcement that comes over the PA system " flight 143 from Las Vegas Nevada to Washington DC will now be boarding please have your boarding pass is ready "
We stand up to get in line. The women takes our boarding passes then we walk on to the plane I think to self " wow this it"
We sit and I put my head phones in I feel the plane take off. It's like Magic.
