Chapter 2

"Turn left..." she mumbled.

I nodded in acknowledgment. I took a left and I stopped at her driveway.
She got out of the car without a word. As she was walking out the door I called her name, "Camila!"

She turned around.

"May I ask who was that?" I wondered.

She curled a finger towards me (like you know when they mean come here...yeah that's what that means). I walked around the car and up to her. She turned around and unlocked her door and let me step inside.

"He's my boyfriend... I don't know why I'm even still with him." She confessed as she headed towards the kitchen

"Well why not just break up with him?" I suggested.

She shook her head.

"It's not like that," she responded.

"Well then what is it like?"

She sighed, "He just makes me feel happy about myself sometimes."

She grabbed a banana and peeled it open.

"But he didn't even help you when he accidentally punched you and spilled your coffee on you." I said.

She looked down at her shirt. She mumbled something but I couldn't hear.
She finished her banana and headed into her room and shut the door. A few moments later she opened back up the door with a new shirt on. I walked into the kitchen and opened up the freezer. I grabbed some ice and put it in a ziploc bag. I wrapped a paper towel around it.

"Here, for your bruise." I offered.

She smiled and grabbed the bag.

"Thanks." she muttered.

"I better get going." I said and walked towards the door.

"You should stay awhile," I heard her say.

I turned towards her.

"I mean, I guess." I answered and sat on her couch.

"Thanks for your help" she thanked.

"Anytime, babe-" It slipped from my mouth.

She blushed and giggled a bit. My cheeks turned a light red.

"Sorry," I muttered, "it just slipped out."

She looked at me then down at my lips. She then looked away again.

"I've never actually heard your name," she broke the silence.

"It's Y/n"

A few hours we were watching a movie. I looked over at her and noticed why everyone is drooling over her. Her laugh was so contagious, her lips looked so soft and plump, her body just... amazing, her hair so beautiful, her voice so... wow, and her smile was what made everything so perfect.

A snap broke me from my thoughts. She was staring right at me.

"Like what you see?" She asked and chuckled as she got up and walked by. I blushed.

The movie ended.

"I really should get going." I said and stood up to grab my things.

"Thanks for all of your help." she said and hugged me.

Surprised, I hugged her back. She waved as I left. I hopped in my car and drove off. I arrived at my apartment and layed on my bed. My phone buzzed.

Camila🍌🐨 - we should hang again

Y/n - yeah

Camila🍌🐨 - I broke up with that jerk

Y/n - What made you change your mind?

Camila🍌🐨 - you helped me realize I didn't need him

I couldn't figure out what to put next.

Y/n - Glad I could help😄

She didn't reply.

Camila's POV

Camila🍌🐨 - night

He really did help me understand that Austin was a huge jerk. Ugh, he makes me blush too much. I looked in the mirror and looked at my cheek. It was all purpleish and bruised. I slightly touched it and felt pain throughout my cheek. I kind of do remember what happened that night. We hooked up in Jake's bedroom. Luckily we didn't do anything only makeout. He really is a nice guy. I ran my fingers through my hair as I got a text from Dinah.

Dinah😍😊 - we're going to the beach tomorrow

Camila🍌🐨- YAYYY

Dinah😍😊 - the girls are coming and so is Shawn you can invite Austin if you wanna

Camila🍌🐨 - actually I broke up with him

Dinah😍😊 - FINALLY what happened though?

Camila🍌🐨 - he accidentally punched me and spilled coffee on me but he didn't even care or help me out. Y/n helped me though so I'm fine

Dinah😍😊 - oooo Y/n

Camila🍌🐨 - shut up

Dinah😍😊 - you guys would be cute together

Camila🍌🐨 - nah I don't think he really likes me though he's a nice guy but idk

Dinah😍😊 - well see you there

I locked my phone and layed down. Y/n is very sweet. He really does make me feel good about myself. I'm glad he helped me out though. He called me babe though. Maybe he does like me... I doubt it though. Everybody else in highschool likes me and it's pretty annoying.

Camila🍌🐨 - the girls and I are going to the beach, wanna come?

Y/n❤️ - yeah sure what time?

Camila🍌🐨 - around 4 I'll text you when I leave

Y/n❤️ - k

Yes! He's coming! What will the girls think though? I've never really liked him till earlier today. The party was just a mistake. I'm pretty sure everyone knows about it too. I sighed and stared up at the ceiling.
