I sat on Allison's bed star struck. How on earth did Scott and Allison know about Derek Hale? What I also didn't understand, was what the hell Scott was referring to when he mentioned Derek wanting another member for his pack.

Something wasn't adding up. I pulled out my phone and went onto my notes. I decided to write down everything that I have heard that didn't make sense or add up. All I had was a bunch of random words.

The bite

Hearing

Claws

Pack

I only had those four words; these four random words. Despite it making me feel bizarre I just knew these words meant something somehow. I figured out after a while that I wasn't imagining things, I just wasn't taking into consideration what people were saying. Then it hit me the other day when Isaac was in the library he had a book - A werewolf book.

I immediately went onto my phone and searched up 'werewolves' to see what would come up. As I hit enter Allison walked through the door, "Oh you scared me," I jumped and let the delicious smell of hot pizza swarm her room.

"Haha sorry, you hungry?" She motioned to the box of pizza in her hands, I nodded, "Always,"

She sat the box down before she checked her phone, "Oh sorry I forgot to tell you, Scott texted you." Her eyes shot open as she saw his message, "Don't worry I didn't read it." I lied to her and she took a sigh of relief, relaxing her shoulders. Obviously that message was something I wasn't meant to see.

I took a bite of my pizza before saying, "What do you know about Derek Hale?" Her eyes widened at the sudden mention of his name and I already knew from her reaction that she knew something.

She quickly shook her head before replying, "Not sure. I've heard of him on the news and stuff, but other than that I don't really know much about him..." There it was, just as I expected, another lie. I should've known she wouldn't of told me. I simply smiled and pretended she was telling the truth. However, deep down my stomach swirled with anger. They are suppose to be my friends yet they continue to exclude me from things and lie to me continuously. Maybe they aren't even really my friends...

I decided to do a quick subject change, "So I've had a lot of trouble with chapter twelve in maths, can you give me a hand?"

"Of course," She smiled at me and we both began the long night of studying.

It was Friday morning and for once I was walking down the halls in my own clothes instead of Lydia's.

I had a mission this morning, and that was to find Stiles. Stiles was never good at lying and had a habit of letting things slip out by accident. I knew if I played my cards right I would hopefully gain some useful information about Derek.

I saw him at his locker gawking at Lydia and nudged his shoulder, "Hey Stilinski, I need to borrow you. Would you mind pausing your admiring of Lydia for a few moments?"

His cheeks became a light pink colour as we walked away from his locker to an empty classroom. "What's up?"

"Just wondering what you know about Derek Hale?" I start and raised a brow at him.

"D-Derek, um never heard of him..."I raised my eyebrows and walked closer to him, "Uh-um, wait isn't he that guy that burnt down his own house or something with his family inside? Like, how crazy is that? Who would even-"
