ARTHUR

I had fallen asleep. My body hurt, every muscle had been tense for about fifteen minutes and I couldn't understand how I could have done that automatically without thinking of the consequences afterwards. But how naive can I be? I just let some guy I barely know, and a guy I only recently began to like, fuck me senseless. How can I be so dumb?

But that's what happens when he sweeps you off of your feet and you're trapped in a never ending trap he made specifically for you. God I hate that homo! But, I also really like him so I guess I'm fine.

That whole time I was with him I felt at ease, I felt no need to put up barriers or lie to him, I felt so safe. And Joshua, oh God. His body was that of a god; perfectly sculpted muscles with skin that looked like ebony, how could this man be human? His long locks of hair getting in his face, he didn't notice, not once; and his lips that would curl into a long awaited moment of joy, I could almost see his pain being lifted from his shoulders.

I opened my eyes, and was looking straight at his face, he was sleeping. I almost giggled out loud at how cute he looked, but I contained it and searched for a clock but also looked around his room. Apparently, Joshua was really rich, he had a 45in tv in his room connected to an Xbox and a PS4, next to that there was a large fish tank with at least 5 different species of fish. And oh look he has a godfather clock, how typical. I squinted at the clock, it read as 8:45 p.m.

Shit. I have no idea how to get to my house from here and on top of that, Joshua's mother's girlfriend will be getting home soon. But hey, I could always call my parents and say I was staying at a friends house. They wouldn't care, I just had to find my clothes and put on some new ones.

I sheepishly got out of the bed, trying not to wake Joshua. If I was going to stay here, I might aswell explore it while I had the chance.

So, shifting my weight to each foot as quietly as I could, I opened the bedroom door leading to the hallway. As I closed the door, I looked around, there wasn't anything special about this place, the halls were white with a hint of blue and family photos were up on the wall in matte black frames. The hallway lead to an awning where the kitchen was and a large counter with cabinets on every corner plastered with hand made paintings. Oddly, the pictures seemed to only help at how depressing the apartment looked, there was a perplexing feeling that this apartment had many bad memories and that worried me immensely. I looked around the countertop and found the phone here the other door. I walked up to it and saw two notes on the side of the phone holder, I didn't bother reading them and started to dial the phone number of my house.

The phone was ringing for a really long time when from out of nowhere, my little sister's shrill voice came from the other side of the phone.

"Who this be?" She asked confidently.

"Helena, I'm staying at a friend's house tonight. Can you tell the parents, not that they would care but I just feel better with them knowing." I said as quietly as I could without waking Joshua up.

Helena hummed for a minute, "we know," she stated simply, "Some girl named Akira came over and told us that you were staying at a friends house to help him do a joint project." I looked at the wall in disbelief, how the hell did they know?

"Ugh, whatever. Tell mom and dad I said hi, stay in your room if you can and don't get into any trouble."

"Duh."

"Bye."

"Ugh, goodbye." She slammed the phone down. I sighed, little sisters are strang, and woman are strange in general, especially Akira and Wren.
