Where has the time gone? (shadow the hedgehog fanfiction, book 3)

Hey everyone, its Sophie. I have been living with shadow for a while now and I love my daughter, Maria, to death.  Time certainly going by fast these days.

Chapter 1- what is this place?

 It was a beautiful September day. Me and Shadow were getting ready to take Maria to Sonic's. "C'mon shadow". I yelled getting maria's coat. "SHADOW"! I yelled once more. (where is he?) I ran up stairs and knocked on his door. no answer. I then got irritated and walked in. Shadow was fast asleep on his bed. I then walked over slowly to him and.........."SHADOW"! He then jumped up and fell out of bed. "What are you doing"? I asked. "Sleeping". I then rolled my eyes. "You didn't get maria up, did you"? I asked. He was silent. "I always have to do everything around here, don't I"? I then stomped out and went into maria's room. I picked up maria and rocked her to calm her down. I then felt arms wrap around me. "What"? I asked coldly. "I'm sorry, don't be mad". I then turned around and smiled at him. I then hugged him. "It's fine". After lollygagging around, we finally got maria ready and headed our way to Sonic's.   ~    We then arrived at Sonic's to warm, special hugs. "Hey guys". said sonic. They all then stepped hugging us. "wow, maria is getting big". "Yes she is". "She's already 2 months". There were decorations everywhere. "How did you get rid of amy"? I asked. Sonic then smiled. "We have ways". Just then, tails came running. "She's coming"! he yelled. We all hid at various places. "sonic, where are you"? she yelled. We then all jumped out "SURPRISE"! we all yelled. "Awwww, thanks guys". She then ran over to sonic and tried to kiss him. "Amy, what did we talk about before"? She then hung her head low. "I'm sorry". She then walked away. Lilly then went over to him and hugged him tight. "How have you and sonic been doing"? I asked curiously. "good actually". "What about you and Shadow"? she asked. I then smiled. "wonderful". We all then gathered the table and set the cake down. We all then started to sing to her. "Happy Birthday......". Then suddenly we felt uncontrollable shakes. I handed shadow, maria. "What's happening"? I asked. I was then blasted away from the group. "SOPHIE"! Shadow yelled. My head took a direct hit on a huge oak tree. I came crashing down and landed on my back. My eyes slowly closed as I lost consciousness.  ~   I woke up and saw pitch black. I looked all around and there was nothing and nobody. "Hello"? "anyone"? I could only hear the echo of my voice. I looked down and gasped. I was floating in nothing, but pitch black. I then saw a bright ball of light coming closer and closer to me. I tried to move, but I could only stay in that one spot. The bright ball then took the form of a cat. It was a black and white cat, white all over, with black stripes; wearing a green hoodie cape that went down to where his feet were. He opened his eyes and a bright gold shined out of them. (wow, pure golden eyes). "I have been watching you from afar". her said in a stern, serious voice. (okay then?) "You don't know the arrow of your ways and your actions will destroy us all". (what is he talking about?) "Your powers are much too great and should be used for good as expected". "Who are you"? "What are you talking about"? I asked questionably. "SILENCE"! he yelled. He then created a bubble of energy and surrounded me with it. "Your actions will not be tolerated". "Until you learn the arrow of your ways and the true meaning of your power, I hereby banish you from your existence of being the chosen one". "what does that mean"?  I mumbled. He then took both of his hands and faced them towards me. They started to glow whiter then his fur. He struck me with it. "AHHHH"! I yelled. "Who are you"?!? I yelled. "My name is Descendant and so long". He then vanished and the bubbled I was in, popped. I then started to fall out of the darkness. "AHHHH"! I entered a bright light and passed out.
