Chapter 16

Chapter 16 -they have arrived

as we headed to Eggman's base, I stopped again. "now what's wrong"? asked knuckles. "I'm thinking". I responded back. "if were gonna stop descendant, we need all the help we can get". I thought to myself. "I agree, and I know just the  brothers to do it". shadow answered in my head. he pulled out his communicator and dialed a number. ~ 10 minutes later ~     "who are we waiting for, shadow"? asked knuckles impatiently. "them". shadow then pointed behind us as we saw two figures heading our way. my eyes grew wide. (I can't believe who it was). "sorry were late, Yoshi wouldn't stop saying goodbye". said the voice of Mario. I started screaming in my head, like a little school girl. "I can't believe, I'm meeting my 2nd favorite franchise ever"! (next to sonic franchise, of course).      shadow started  smirking at me. I started blushing. (he probably read my mind). "we knew you wouldn't call shadow, if it wasn't a true emergency". said Luigi. shadow nodded. "I do mean business". sonic stepped in. "have you heard of a person named descendant"? "descendant"? they both said as they looked at each other. shadow then showed them his watch. (it had a picture of  descendant on it). "how did you get that"? I asked questionably. "I have ways".  he responded back.(well then).      Mario thought for a moment, then shook his head. "nope, can't say I have". Luigi looked nervous, which caught Shadow's attention. "Luigi.....have you seen him before"? he asked suspiciously. "um..........yeah". he admitted. "where at"? I asked. Luigi then looked away. "when I was on a date with princess daisy, he tried to take her away and make her love him". we all gasped. (even Mario). "I started protecting her more and more so descendant would leave her alone". Luigi's eyes went wide. "oh no"! "I'm off guard and not protecting my princess"! "I have to go back"! yelled Luigi as he started running in the other direction. "Luigi, wait"! "what about them"? Luigi  stopped. "sorry, but I can't let daisy get taken". Mario then put his hand on Luigi's shoulder. "she probably already got kidnapped anyway". Luigi pushed Mario aside. "thanks for the support, brother". Mario huffed up. "all I'm saying is that no matter what, she will still be taken, nothing you can do about it". Luigi then pushed Mario back. (ooooooh, this is getting good).    "oh yeah, well if it was your princess, you'd save her on the spot and made sure she was safe". "well I guess you don't do a good job, considering she always gets taken from under your nose". Luigi then clicked Mario's nose. "that's it"! yelled Mario. Mario and Luigi broke out into a fist fight. punch after punch, kick after kick, words after words. (I don't know if I should jump in and stop them or just enjoy the show). Sonic then jumped in. "hey, hey, hey"! he yelled while stepping in-between them and pushing them away form each other. "if daisy gets kidnapped, will save her, OK Luigi"? "she'll be OK". Luigi then nodded in understanding. "oh and Mario.........". Mario then looked at sonic. "shut-up". sonic said irritated. "uh, I hate to break up the pity party, but were losing time". said scourge crossing his arms. "scourge is right for once". said knuckles. "hey"! he yelled. "well.....". started knuckles. scourge then jumped on knuckles and started punching him, while knuckles did the same. "HEY"! yelled shadow. Everyone stopped and looked at him. "Are you all children"? "we need to go stop descendant". "no more fighting"! "got it" we  all agreed. "now let's be on our way". we all then headed to Eggman's base once again.
