Where has the time gone? (shadow the hedgehog fanfiction, book 3)

Chapter 6

hey wattpatters, it's been really rough lately with school and other things going on, but I'm trying to upload the best that I can.  thanks for your patience and enjoy.

Chapter 6- Curiosity can be dangerous

We appeared at a black and red house. (obviously, it's shadow's). We went  inside and went to his room. "Hey, isn't Eggman probably wondering where you are"? He was silent. "Uh, don't worry about Eggman". He seemed to look a little nervous, but I shrugged it off. "So, Sophie"? he started. "yes"? I said. "What do you know"? "Oh where do I even begin"? shadow scooted towards me. "How about when we met". I then smiled. "The first time or this time"? I joked. He then crossed his arms. "first time, of course". After he said that, I took off. I started pouring out information about him and me and the others. As soon as I finished, Shadow looked dumbfounded. "wow". was all he said. "You know more than I thought". "well, we should get you back to the others". he announced. "I suppose so". With the chaos emerald's power, we were gone in a flash. ~ we arrived at Sonic's and everyone came rushing out. They were coming closer to me, with millions and millions of questions. "Whoa, whoa, whoa; give her room to breath". said shadow backing them up. "What are you doing here"? asked sonic. "I managed. to talk since into him". I said in confidence. "But he kidnapped you, we sent rouge to go and get you". said knuckles. Me and shadow gasped. "oh no". he said. (that's what we forgot). "where is she anyway"? finished knuckles. I didn't know what to say at that point. "uh, well, she is staying at a friend's house and I should go get her". I said charging off. ~ Rouge's point-of-view: I woke up and it was strangely quiet. "hello"? "Sophie"? "hello"? I could only hear my own echoes through the empty house. I walked over to the kitchen and saw a glass of water just sitting there. Then something clicked inside my head. "what if Eggman or...."? I didn't finish my sentence. I ran out the door and chaos controlled away. Normal point-of-view: I ran and ran until I reached the house of mother nature. "Where is she"? "she was here and now she's not". I started to freak out. "Sophie, calm down". said shadow putting his hand on my shoulder. "she couldn't have gone far and I'm sure she's ok". he assured me. "Don't be so sure, shadow". said the voice of Eggman, out of shadow's communicator. It showed a picture of Eggman, as ugly as ever. "what have you done with rouge"? I asked demandly. "your friend rouge will be, as you say, sleeping with the fishes". he started to laugh villainously. "That is, unless, you come back and be my prisoner and you too shadow, or traitor". Eggman signed off the communicator. "what do we do"? I asked. "I will go and rescue rouge, you stay here". he said in a demanding tone. "but, shadow". "No Sophie, I want to keep you safe now........STAY"! he yelled. I jumped back. "yes sir". I shivered. Shadow then ran out and vanished out of sight. "what is shadow up to"? I asked myself in my head. As my curiosity got stronger, I decided to go after rouge and check things out. ~ I arrived at egg man's base. The door's opened, so I hid behind a tree. Shadow and Rouge came out laughing. (huh? laughing? why?) "so what's the status"? asked rouge. "I got almost everything and nobody suspects a thing". he said in a dark-like tone. "good". she responded. "what are they talking about"? I asked myself in my head. I stepped on a twig and they both looked in my direction. I then chaos controlled away.

I know it was shorter than usual, but I'm working on it though. : )
