Chapter 4

Chapter 4- dark side of him

When the light cleared, we were in a metal base, the main control room. Eggman walked in and sat in his chair. He stroked his moustache, over and over. Shadow still had his grip on me, as he starred at the doctor, waiting for orders. "she might be real useful to us". he smirked. "so with that being said......". he started as he walked over to me, with shadow still griping on my arm. "you will work for me, understand"? I then glared at him. "how can I"? "You hurt and stab people in the back and no one can trust you". Eggman just smiled. "well, shadow trusts me". "what do you say to that"? I then froze. "I thought so". he finished. "Your a big joke"! I yelled. he only laughed. I like a girl with attitude". I then shook in disgust. (OK......ew!) "shadow, take her to her room". "you are done, for today". Shadow then dragged me out of the room and dragged me down the hall. ~  He opened a door to a room and threw me in. He also came in and closed the door behind him. He starred at me with unimpressed, hatred eyes. I backed up away from him, until my back was against the bed post. He then came closer. "I want you to know that I hate people like you......your kind". he continued. "but eggman wants you and so I'm gonna follow orders". My eyes was full of fear from his death glare. "you will stay out of my way, and if you don't..........." He then took out his gun and faced it towards me. "Things are gonna happen, understand"? I then looked away. "Look at me when I'm talking to you"! he yelled as he jerked my face up, to look at him. "hmph". "You disgust me". He then threw me down and walked out, slamming the door behind him. I wore a shocked expression on my face (I have never seen him so mad at the world before. I mean, not like this). I then heard the door creak open. I started backing up (thinking it was Shadow). Then a white bat, walked in. "Remember me"? She asked. "Rouge". I said in a calmer voice. "listen......I'm here to get you out of here". "I snuck in without them noticing". "I thought they all thought I was a spy"? I asked annoyed. Rouge then smiled. "Yeah, but we talked about it and we wanna know what you know". (OK?). "Anyway, enough said". "We better get out of here, before Shadow comes". "Don't bet on it". We both turned around and saw Shadow at the door, with his gun off of safety. "Get back to your bed"! he yelled at me. Rouge stood in front of me. "Back off, shadow". "Don't make me use thus rouge". he said with his death glare returning. Rouge stood in front if me. I then remembered my chaos emerald in my pocket. "as you wish". he said and shot rouge in the leg. I quickly gripped her arm and pulled out my chaos emerald. "Chaos Control"! I yelled as we vanished.   ~ we then appeared in a nearby forest. (we couldn't go to Sonic's, that's the first place they would look). "Someone, Help"! I yelled. Then strong gust of wind blew towards us. Then a pink dog, with a green, flowery dress, appeared in front of us. "I'll help you, follow me". She picked up rouge and ran to a red and green house, with yellow flowers, surrounding it. She then went inside and laid rouge down on her couch. Her hands started to glow and she touched her leg. It immediately healed her. "Wow, how did you do that"? I asked in amazement. "I just have magical abilities". She answered. "Hi, I'm sophie and this Rouge". "Thank you for saving my friend". The pink cat just smiled. "Your welcome and I'm Liana, but people call me Mother Nature". I came in total shock. "What"? (I wanted to make sure I heard correctly). "You heard right". "Nice to meet you, mother nature". "please, the pleasure is all mine". She then cleared her throat. "so, what brings you deep in the woods"? she asked  questionably. "We were running from someone". "oh, was thus person the one who hurt you"? she asked. we both nodded. "well, your both welcome to stay here". "thank you kindly, we don't mean to intrude". "no, no, no, your not intruding, I could use the company". Mother Natures watch started to beep. "Gotta go, work has to be done". She then vanished in a gust of wind. "Do you think shadow will fine us here, rouge"?  I asked. "I hope not Sophie, I hope not". We both then started to worry. "will just have to stay hidden". I declared. We both agreed and locked the door.
