Kidnapped

Chapter Seven

One Week Later~ Anna's Pov. 

Finally after a week being stuck in the hospital I can finally leave and go home, and finally get sleep. I haven't gotten really any sleep since I got here, nightmares or just staying up and thinking prevented me from sleeping. Harry got to leave four days ago, he has been staying in our guest bedroom. He would fly back home, but the doctor said he should rest for at least a week and he also didn't want to leave me. 

Today was the day I leave, Mitch has been visiting everyday when he can. School hasn't let him come as much but he still tries, he told me he wouldn't see me till this Friday and today was Tuesday. He figured I would want to rest, my dad and Harry showed up to take me home. Apparently my mom didn't come because she can't stand Harry, I don't even know how my dad got her to agree to let Harry stay in our guest bedroom. 

I had to leave in a wheelchair, hospital policy. Harry decided to push me out and my dad was talking on the phone with I would say my mom. I sat in the back seat, Harry sitting right next to me. My dad pulling out of the parking lot, asked us if we wanted anything to eat. I quickly said no, earning a look from both of them. I decided to lie and say that I already ate. They believed me, but Harry was still hungry so we stopped at Taco Bell. "Are you sure you don't want anything?" My dad asked, and I just simpley nodded. 

Once we got back to my house Mitch was there,  once out of the car I hugged him. He hugged back so tight I almost couldn't breathe. "I thought you said I wouldn't be able to see you till Friday" 

"Practice got canceled today." I smiled. "Okay love birds split it up." My dad came between us to get to the door, he turned back before he went in. "The door will be unlocked, so come in whenever." 

I looked at Harry and he was just staring at us. "Harry, do you mind if me and Anna go for a walk? I want to talk to her." Mitch asked, I think he knew it would anger Harry but he didn't care. 

Harry made a fist but then undid it. He put on a fake smile and said, "Sure, take your time. I'll be here when you get back." He walked past Mitch and purposely bumped his shoulder into his when walking by.  "What an asshole" Mitch took my hand and we started walking down to the river. I wanted to pull my hand out of his, but didn't want to seem rude. His hand just didn't feel right in mine. We were walking for a bit till we came up to a bench on which we sat on.  I broke the silence first. "So what did you want to talk about?" I asked, curious on what he was going to say. 

"Well it isn't going to be easy." I turned to face him and our eyes met. I gave him a look to continue. 

"Well im just going to get straight to the point......im in love with you." The last part was in a whisper and I didn't even hear him. "Can you say that again?" 

"Straight to the point?" I couldn't help but laugh, "No the last part." 

Silence fell around us, it wasn't really an awkward silence. At least that's what I think, he took his hands in mine. "Anna since the day I basically met you, I have been in love with you. Your smile, your laugh, everything about you. I love you." I smiled, I felt my cheeks get hot and I knew my face was redder then a rose. 

We looked at each other for a long time, "Anna, when you went missing I thought I would lose you forever. I thought I would never hear your voice or laugh every again. I thought I lost my best friend." His eyes filled up with tears, I got up and hugged him. "But im safe now, I escaped and its all thanks to Harry." I sat next to him. "Anna forget him, he is a asshole. He can go die in hell for all I care." I was taken back, "Don't you ever talk about him like that ever again, if it wasn't for him I would be dead." His eyes were looking down to the ground.

"Im sorry." I didn't say what I wanted to say, I just didn't want to start a fight. "So Anna?" 

I met his eyes once more, "What?" He took a long breathe before speaking again. "Do you feel the same way back?"

I thought about it for a couple minutes, even though I knew the answer right away.

"Sorry Mitch, but im in love with somebody else."
