*Luci's P.O.V*
"Babe, get up. It's time to go home." I heard Dalton whisper.
"Really?" I sat sitting up, but I was so sore that I fell back down.
Without saying a word, he picked me up, one hand under my legs, and one on the middle of my back, gently setting me in a wheelchair.
He walked away for a few seconds, only to return holding Skylar.
"And here you go." He said smiling.
"She's so perfect." I whispered, stroking her arm gently with my knuckles.
"You're her mother aren't you?" He said, leaning down and kissing my lips.
"I see you guys are in a hurry to leave." Dr. Carah smiled, interrupting our special moment.
"We just want to get her home." Dalton said, letting out a sigh.
"Well you are free to leave, but, Luci, I'll see you in six weeks to get your stitches out and Skylar's check up. Have a lovely day." She said, giving us one last smile and exiting the room.
When I turned to Dalton his face was completely pale.
"Dalton?" I said, snapping him out his distant state.
"Stitches?" He gulped.
"Dalton, my lower region needs to heal, I just pushed out a baby. I'm fine, but you have to wait six weeks to get laid." I winked.
"Damn. Let's go." He huffed.
As he pushed me I giggled, and talked to Skylar.
I wish my mom was here to support me.
No I don't.
I wish Dalton's dad was here, or Max.
Max!
"Dalton, we have to call my grandparents and have them bring Max over to visit." I said as I slowly set Skylar into her carseat.
While I strapped her in, Dalton started the car.
"December fourth, two thousand thirteen, is a date that we will always remember." Dalton said, looking back at me while I stared at our sleeping baby.
"Now that the baby is here, when is our wedding date?" I said, giving him a sly smirk and a wink.
"Wouldn't you like to know." He smiled, pulling his seatbelt on and slowly pulling out of the parking lot.
"Babe, you know you can drive at a normal speed, you're going 25 on the freeway." I giggled.
"If we didn't have Skylar I'd be going at least 80, but I'm not chancing it." He said, gently pushing on the brake.
*1 Hour Later*
"See it was only an extra fifteen minutes!" Dalton exclaimed, pulling Skylar and her carseat out of the car.
"Dalton, I can't walk up the stairs." I said, staring up at the long staircase.
"Let me walk her up, then I'll carry you up." He said jogging up the stairs Skylar and carseat, with her diaper bag.
He nearly jumped down the stairs, and picked me up bridal style.
"I love you." He whispered, giving me a gentle kiss on my lips.
"I love you too." I said, giving him a warm smile.
When we got up the stairs, Dalton gently set me on the couch, handing me a sleeping Skylar.
"You hungry?" He asked.
