Chapter 2

While Kendra was talking with Jake, Alexis and Trent were listening to them.  But Kendra had to find a way to tell Alexis and Trent.  She didn't really know how too, but she had to find a way.  So Kendra decided not to tell them right away.  Plus they probably won't believe her anyway because she had never fallen for someone like this before.  "Do you want go out to eat or something?" Jake asked smiling.

"Sure," Kendra said blushing.

"Cool, when?" asked Jake.

"How about after school on Thursday," Kendra asked with a smile, "Alexis and Trent will be there too. If that's ok with you?"

"Oh, I was kinda hoping just the two of us," Jake said blushing while looking down.

Kendra felt so stupid but at the same time she was happy because he just wanted her there with him. 

"Ok, I just thought that maybe they could come that's all," Kendra said feeling stupid.

"No, they can come I just don't know what there are going to think," Jake said looking sad.

"Ok, then I guess I'll see you on Thursday after school," Kendra said looking down feeling like an idiot.

This was not at all what Kendra was expecting.  She didn't think that he would just want the two of them, she thought that he would be ok with them there with them.  How could she have been so stupid and careless. Kendra thought that he was mad at her for inviting them to go, but he wasn't he was just a little surprised. Now she wished she hadn't even talked about them coming or even tried to invite them in the first place.  As Kendra stood there looking down she didn't see Jake staring at her.  When all of a sudden, she looked up and there he was standing four inches away from her. She was surprised that he was that close to her. When she felt a hand go around her waist.  She realized it was Jake's hand and she didn't know what to do. Should she run or stay there. Then it was the other hand and she got so uncomfortable that she had the urge to run.  She knew that what he was doing didn't feel right to her because they weren't even dating. She knew she had to do something but she didn't know what.  When he's hand were around her all the way, she saw him lean in closer like he was about to kiss her.  But he didn't, all he did was hug her.  Even though she didn't know why he was hugging her, but she liked it.  When he let go they just stared into each other's eyes.  Kendra was relieved that he didn't kiss her, even though she really liked him.  "Are you ok Kendra, you seem upset about something?  That's why I hugged you," Jake said blushing.

"Yeah I'm ok, thanks for asking," Kendra said happily.

"Do you want to go in a different room," Jake asked blushing and smiling.

"Sure," Kendra said looking up.

"Ok," Jake said with a grin.

But when they got into the other room with everyone else, they were all still kissing.  Jake and Kendra looked at each other and smiled.  When Alexis and Trent saw them everyone else stop and looked at them.  Kendra and Jake felt really weird when everybody was staring at them.  When Alexis and Trent started walking over to them everyone started doing their own thing again.  "Hey Kendra. Hey Jake," Alexis and Trent said looking at each other with a smirk.

"Hey?" Kendra said questionly. 

"What's going on?" Jake asked.

That's when Alexis took Kendra aside to tell her that what happened was all her and Trent's plan to get her and Jake to meet.  Kendra was a little mad but she was thankful that Alexis did that for her.  Meanwhile Trent and Jake were talking about Kendra and what she is like. "So what do you think of Kendra," Trent asked smiling.

"She's cool," Jake said blushing.

"Cool! That's it, nothing else," Trent said quietly yelling. "Do you think that you might like her or even ask her out."

"I don't know," Jake said blushing more.

"Dude just tell me, I have to know please," Trent said yelling in Jake's face.

"Well, I mean she it really beautiful, hot, cool, funny, I like her smile, and the way that her hair smells, and how she blushes whenever she talks to me," Jake said with his face turning red while smiling.

"Jake you so like her man. You've got to ask her out," Trent said elbowing Jake on the arm.

"But I barely know her," Jake said frowning.

"So you really like her right or do you love her," Trent said moving his eyebrows up and down with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah I love her already but I don't think that she'll say yes," Jake said looking upset.

"Trust me she does and to prove it go kiss her and see what her reaction is," Trent said shoving Jake. 

"Ok I guess I can try," Jake said blushing. 

So as Jake walk over to Kendra he got really nervous because he didn't want to mess this up.  So it had to be perfect.  When he got over to Kendra he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her in close.  Meanwhile Kendra on the other hand didn't know what to think.  The next thing Jake knew he was kissing Kendra and then he might have thought that Kendra would get mad and shove him away, but instead of shoving him she put her arms around him and started kissing him too.  Alexis and Trent felt so happy for them.  That's when Jake finally did it.  "Kendra I can't live without you in my life, you're my everything, you make me feel warm inside, and I never want to be away from you.  Kendra will you go out with me and be my girlfriend," Jake said blushing with a big grin on his face.

"Oh, Jake I love you too, and I never want to be away from you either, of course I'll go out with you and be your girlfriend," Kendra said with her face turning red while smiling.

Everybody including Alexis and Trent were so happy for them.  The next thing everyone knew Kendra and Jake were making out.  Kendra loved Jake so much and hoped that he was the one Alexis and Trent were talking about, because what she said was true she never wanted to lose Jake or ever wanted be away from him.  Jake felt the same way about Kendra and never wanted to lose her either.  As the party was ending Kendra decided to have Jake take her home that way he would know where she lived if she ever needed anything. When Kendra got home she starts to kiss Jake goodbye, but then end up making out in the car. 

"I'll see you on Monday at school," Kendra said kissing him goodbye.

"Ok, I love you," Jake said smiling. 

"No, I love you more," Kendra said blushing.

Then they both made out one last time before Kendra went inside to get ready for bed.  They texted all night. And couldn't wait to see each other on Monday. But what would her other friend think about Jake?
