Boy Drama

Chapter 5

           "Of course, I'll go to the dance with you", Kendra said hugging and kissing him. They gazed into each other eyes for the longest time. Kendra just smiled at him then kissed him on the cheek. But when she saw Josh's face her smile went away. 

   Then they kissed in front of all there friends. As they walked to class Josh and Kendra kept making eye contact and smiling at each other. But little did Kendra know that Josh liked her and that he was jealous of Jake and Kendra. Kendra did really like Jake but there was one other guy that Kendra has liked all her life, but she didn't know if he liked her. His name was Tyler, and he was this really funny, smart, caring, gentle, loving, guy that has known Kendra all her life. They have been friends for as long as Kendra could remember. Kendra had always wanted to tell Tyler how she felt, but she was afraid that he didn't feel the same way. 

   When Kendra walk into the classroom the first person she saw was Tyler. She tried not to make eye contact, but he ended up noticing her. He waved at her and smiled with that cute smile of his. Kendra tried to make it seem like she didn't see him but she did wave back at him smiling and blushing. "Hey Kendra", Tyler said smiling, "come over here and sit by me". 

   So Kendra walked over and sat in the seat next to him. When she looked at him she started blushing the way she always did. She tried not to smile, but she just could help herself. Tyler and Kendra talked most of the class hour, even though, the teacher told them to be quiet multiple times they just kept on talking and laughing. Kendra started remembering all the funny moment the had spent together and the time Tyler got attacked by a chair and how she had laugh so hard that she could barely breath. And how she had taking care of the big cut on his leg after ward. After the cut was taken care of Tyler and Kendra just sat there gazing into each other eyes. Kendra had started leaning in to kiss him but then she didn't instead she lay her head on his shoulder, with his arm around her. When Kendra thought of those moments she almost cried in front of Tyler, but she held back the tears. Soon enough the bell rang and class was over. When Tyler saw Kendra leaving he walked up to her. "Are you okay", Tyler said looking concerned, "because you're looking a little upset". 

"No I'm okay I just started remembering all the good times we had together, Kendra said while a tear ran down her cheek. Do you remember the time that you got attacked by a chair, and then I helped you with the skratch", Kendra looked down at the ground starting to cry with a smile on her face.

"Of course I do, how could I forget", Tyler said walking a little closer to her. He kept walking toward her until they were so close that there was no space inbetween them. When Kendra looked up she was looking right into his eyes. She still had tears running down her face, so Tyler wrapped his arms around her holding her tight. Soon enough Kendra stopped crying, then they stopped hugging and just stared at each other for a while. Then out of nowhere Jake walked up and grabbed Kendra by the waist, Kendra starting laughing and screaming. When Jake put her down he turned her around and kissed her. Tyler looked confused at first because he had no idea who Jake was or why he was kiss and hugging Kendra. Kendra looked at Tyler and stopped smiling. "Tyler this is Jake", Kendra said half smiling, "he is my boyfriend". 

"That's cool", Tyler said nodding, "I should give you guys some space then. It was good meeting you Jake".

Kendra wasn't smiling anymore in fact she felt like crying. Jake had barge in on the moment they were having. Kendra wanted to turn around and smack Jake across the face and walk away. But she knew that she couldn't do that it hurt him and their relationship. "That Tyler guys seems nice", Jake said smiling.

"Yeah he's awesome. We've been friends our whole life", Kendra said trying not to blush.

"That's cool. Hey, Trent, Josh, and I are going to go shopping for the school dance tomorrow night after school. You and your friends should go at some point because the dance is in 4 days", Jake said happily.

"Yeah we will most likely go on Saturday and have a girls day", Kendra said with a grin on her face.

"Hey I got to go, I love you, and I'll see you tomorrow", Jake said hugging and kissing her on the head.

"Ok, bye love you too", Kendra said walking to her car.

On the way home she decided to go stop by Krave and get some frozen yogurt. When she walked in she saw Tyler there getting some frozen yogurt too. She was a little surprised to see him, so she quickly ran to the bathroom and waited there until he left. She bought some frozen yogurt and got into her car and drove home. When she got home she didn't eat dinner, instead she went straight to her room and lay in her bed thinking about how Tyler had reacted to Jake. She wonder if he still liked her, but she told herself that he didn't. Before she went to sleep she texted all her friends about going shopping this weekend for dress for the dance. Her friends all responded with a yes. She texted them all good night, including Jordan, Jessie, Jayln, Alexis, Emily K, Emily R, and Savannah. Texted Jake goodnight and that she loved him, then Tyler goodnight. So as she lay there wondering what the dance was going to be like, then she finally feel asleep.
