The end of the year rolled around pretty quickly. Hermione couldn't believe that this was actually her last year of Hogwarts. After they graduate they would have to move on with their lives.
Hermione watched as Draco looked around carefully for the snitch and luckily he spotted it before Potter did. "and Slytherin takes the lead! Way to go Zabini! Blaise was always a fair player. Unlike.."
"Jordan! This is your last game. Don't blow it!"
"Slytherin takes the lead." Jordan said adding another ten points to their score.
"Come on snitch, where are you?" Draco looked around the pitch and saw Blaise score two more points, making the score 50 to 70. He continued to look around the pitch until he saw the snitch sparkling around the Gryffindor seating. He saw Hermione and smiled. "Thanks for being my good luck charm, Granger." He said to himself before racing after the snitch as fast as he could, and eventually Harry spotted it too. Draco was inches away from the snitch.
"Another 10 points to Slytherin! The score is now 50 to 80!" Jordan said watching the 6 goals very closely.
Draco wanted to catch the snitch more than anything. This was all for the Quidditch cup. That would be amazing for his last year of Hogwarts.
"Another 10 points to Slytherin!" At this point, Blaise had made so many points he thought Ron had given up. He was now only centimeters from the snitch when suddenly he felt the cold object against his palm. He lowered his broom to the ground and held the snitch high in the air. The whistle was blown. "SLYTHERIN WINS!" Madam Hooch shouted from her broom, and handed Draco the cup. All the Slytherin's gathered at the ground and cheered together.
Suddenly a small figure came running toward him, and he was able to catch her with the Quidditch Cup still in hand. "For someone who's house just lost the Quidditch Cup, you seem happy." he said placing her back on the ground. The swelling in her eye had finally gone down. Her big brown eyes sparkled more than ever.
"Who cares about that? You won! You did it Draco!"
"All thanks to you. My broom was way faster than Potter's fire bolt. Plus, you're my good luck charm." Suddenly they saw all eyes on them.
"Oh, just kiss her already!" Jordan shouted from the microphone, and seeing an angry McGonagall next to him.
"Jordan! You're fired!" Jordan ran as fast as he could with an annoyed McGonagall chasing after him.
Hermione and Draco laughed along with everyone else. They looked at each other and started to lean in. The whole crowd started to cheer as their lips locked. "I'd take that over Quidditch Cup as my prize any day." Hermione smiled at his words, and he was happy he finally had his Gryffindor princess.
Hermione ran into Draco's arms one afternoon in the middle of the corridor. Luckily he had fast reflexes and caught her in time. "Good afternoon to you too." Draco said as she pulled her lips away from his.
"Sorry, I was just so happy I got O's on my N.E.W.T.S.!" she held the parchment in her hand and saw that she got nine O's, two E's and one A. "I never liked Divination anyway."
They talked all the way back to their dormitory, and Draco watched as his own owl approach the window of the Head's common room. He opened the door and saw that the letter had a Ministry stamp on it. "My N.E.W.T.S." Draco said looking at her. He held the envelope a distance away from his face and very slowly opened it.
"Open it already!", Hermione shouted. He started to open it and shut his eyes as he pulled out the parchment. "Draco, are you nervous?" Hermione said while chuckling.
