Chapter 6 Draco's Revenge

Hermione woke up with Draco's arm wrapped around her. "Morning" he whispered in her ear, and having a husky voice from sleep.

"Malfoy, there's Hogsmeade today." She waited a few more moments and struggled to get out of his strong grip, but finally managed to break free. "Get up."

"Granger, come back." He grabbed the pillow next to him and wrapped his arms around it, thinking it was her. Hermione laughed at his actions.

"This is your last chance to get up." She waited a few seconds before pointing her wand at him. "Aguamenti." She laughed as he practically shot out of bed. He immediately got off the couch and tried to get away from the water.

"Alright! Granger I'm up! IM UP!" Hermione put down her wand to see a Draco drenched in water from head to toe. "You just made a big mistake." He grabbed his wand off the table. "Rictusempra."

Hermione fell to the floor in laughter. "Stop! Draco, stop!" She tried to gain control and grabbed her wand, once again spraying him with water. Their fight lasted about 10 minutes, and somehow they ended up switching spells, yet there was no clear winner. They looked down at themselves then at each other, laughing at the mess they created, but suddenly Hermione heard a voice from the other side of the portrait. She pressed her ear against the door and heard her name being repeated again. "Hermione!"

Once she recognized the voice she immediately opened the door to the common room. "Hey what happened to you two last night? After Harry and I went up to get some drinks, you guys were gone." Ginny went up to give Hermione a hug, but immediately regretted it, and felt how soaked her clothes were. "Okay did you two go swimming? Or take a shower in your clothes?" Ginny saw that the floor was drenched as well.

"Just my new alarm system. Apparently it works on everyone." Hermione said glaring at Draco, who just raised his arms in defense.

"Well, I just came up here to tell you that they're getting ready to leave, so you better hurry." Hermione grabbed her wand to clean up the mess and quickly changed into some dry clothes in her room.

Hermione spent most of her Hogsmeade trip getting Christmas presents for her friends. She was one of those people who liked to get it done fast, and not freak out when everything was gone. She was in the last store that she needed to be in to get Draco his gift. She knew he would love it, or at least she hoped he would. She was about to walk into the Three Broomsticks when she saw a copy of the Daily Prophet laying on a bench.

'Death Eaters Return' was the title of the article. Hermione read the copy of the paper fairly quickly, and rushed into the shop. "Reducio" she said to Draco's gift before shoving it in her bag so he wouldn't see. "Where have you been?" Ginny asked when she noticed Hermione was the last to join. She made sure the newspapers was deep in her bag so no one would see.

"Walked into Honeydukes to get some chocolate frogs." Hermione said as she looked around the room, nut sure where to put her eyes on. "3 butterbeers please." Hermione said to the waitress.

"But Hermione, there's only two of us." She said in confusion, but all of a sudden Draco and Blaise joined the table. "Now there's four"

"I just wanted two butterbeers for myself, maybe a Firewhisky. Is there a problem with that?" Draco widened his eyes at her statement.

"Who are you and what have you done with Hermione Granger?" He said looking at her. All of a sudden he noticed the worry in her eyes. "Granger, are you okay?" He wrapped his arm around her tense body. Once the drinks had arrived she drank hers in under 2 minutes. "Hermione!" Draco shouted while trying to take her drink away from her. "Guys, I'm going to go talk with her. We'll be right back." The two of them walked out of the Three Broomsticks and over to where the Shrieking Shack was. "What's wrong?"
