Hermione sat in front of the graveyard. "Orchideous." She watched as a bunch of flowers appeared in front of the tombstone. Even after nine years she still missed him, and it left a hole in her heart. Everyday she's reminded of the many years they had at Hogwarts, and how they all had to grow up too fast for something that was much bigger than them. "I miss you everyday. I hope you know that. If I never went outside that day then I wouldn't be standing here right now."
She looked down at the ring on her finger. "but I'm really happy with the life I have now. He treats me so wonderful. I know you always questioned stuff like that."
Suddenly someone walked over to her. Five years old and he looked exactly like his father. The hair, the face, but he had her eyes. "You were gone for ten minutes and he missed you like crazy." she watched as her husband approached the tombstone.
"He's a mommas boy."
"Well this one better be daddy's little girl." He said as he carried the two year old girl in his arms. Hermione looked into his grey eyes and fell in love all over again like she did everyday of her life. Their gaze returned back to the tombstone that stood in front of them. "You meant a great deal to him. I know it's hard to lose a best friend, especially all that you two have been together, but I'm here for you. As always."
"We should probably get to the Manor. Narcissa really wants to be with her grandchildren." Draco and Hermione held onto their children tightly as they disapperated to Malfoy Manor.
"Welcome back guys. I'm glad you're visiting today." Narcissa was watching Scorpius and Victoria Malfoy in the other room while Hermione and Draco got a chance to rest before dinner. So what really happened at Hogsmeade? Ron was disarmed and hit with the killing curse. Hermione wanted to cry, but had to remain strong and fight. Shortly after, the Aurors arrived and disarmed Grindelwald before arresting him. He was sentenced to death for all the murders he's committed.
About a year later, Hermione became the second best Auror in the Ministry, after Harry of course, and everyday even though Draco lives in fear that she won't survive, he supports her every single day, but one day when Hermione had to fight a dark wizard in Knockturn Alley, Blaise and Draco were walking out of a store when they saw her cornered by dementors. Blaise wasn't sure who conjured it first, but two large patronus dragons made the dementors go away, and they eventually merged into one. "I've never seen that happen before in my life", Blaise said as he saw what had just happened. That's when Draco knew she was the one.
Draco became Head of Magical Law enforcement and made sure that house elves were treated with respect, and paid for the work they do. Hermione was so happy that S.P.E.W. had made it all the way to the Ministry.
In 2000, Draco had finally found the courage to purpose to Hermione, however, it didn't go as smoothly as he thought. "Marry you will me?" She raised an eyebrow in confusion at his statement. "Sorry I'm a little nervous. This is why I'm not Gryffindor."
"Yes." He smiled as he heard the word come out of her mouth. He placed the ring that was in the Malfoy name for centuries on her finger.
Narcissa and Jean helped Hermione plan the wedding. Most of the colors ended up being red and silver. The second Hermione walked through those doors it was like the breath was taken out of him. Her bushy hair calmed down and was curled back. Her dress reached down to the floor with lace layers, and her sleeve stopped at her elbows. The minute he pulled back the veil, he couldn't stop himself from whispering out "You look so beautiful."
When Hermione and Draco returned from their honeymoon, she was greeted by Ginny jumping in her arms. "That was the longest two weeks of my life."
