Draco and Blaise played dirty, that was for sure. Their little prank war had lasted for quite awhile now. Both Hermione and Draco were too stubborn to let the other win. It had resulted in Hermione and Ginny getting covered in paint, then moments later covered in feathers. Draco and Blaise ended up getting Weasley products in their food. The last one ended with Draco putting something in Hermione and Ginny's shampoo to make their hair glow. "Who needs a flashlight when you have Hermione's big mane." Yes, he did get slapped for that. "Makes it easier to read at night, don't you think?" That didn't help him either.

It was finally the time for Winter break. Hermione and Draco kept a distance from each other as they packed their stuff. Tomorrow morning was when the Hogwarts Express left for the break. "They can't even go 5 minutes with each other cause they don't trust each other." Ginny said as Blaise and her watched from a distance away. "We need to make them give this stupid thing up. I just got my hair to stop glowing."

"I agree. Those two are so stubborn!"

"I think I have an idea. Follow my lead." Ginny first headed into the common room. "Hermione, Draco, there's someone that needs your help. There's a kid locked and tied up in a broom closet on the fifth floor. I'd go and help him, but it's way past curfew and Filtch is being extra nosy tonight." Hermione picked up her wand and headed to the fifth floor. She told the two of them that she personally gives them permission to be out of bed for this emergency.

"Which closet?" Hermione said looking around.

"This one."

"Alohomora." The two of them quickly rushed inside but saw nothing but an empty supply closet. Suddenly the door slammed shut behind them. "GINNY!" Hermione tried to open the door but couldn't. "Alohomora." Still nothing. Ginny must have put some charms on it. "GINNY, ZABINI LET US OUT!" She shouted at the door.

"Not until you two make up from this stupid prank thing." Blaise turned around to Ginny. "I think this may take a few hours, but you're brilliant for this Weasley."

"GINNY!" The two of them shouted at the door to their friends. When they heard absolute silence for awhile they knew they had left. "Blimey! This is all your fault!" She shouted at him.

"My fault? You're the one who had to go and be a Gryffindor and go save the day. Sometimes you're too kind to people."

"Well they apparently locked us up in here for some reason. Apparently to make up."

"Or make-out." Draco said quietly, making sure only he could hear.

"What was that?"

"Nothing!" He began pounding on the door once again. "SOMEONE LET US OUT! IM STUCK IN HERE! PEEVES!" It took about 20 minutes of him banging on the door for her to finally get annoyed.

"Will you just give it up already?!" Hermione shouted at the sweaty idiot who probably had splinters all over his hands. She sat down on the floor about half an hour ago, and started to draw in the dirt on the floor. "People are going to be flooding those corridors tomorrow morning. Well just bang on the doors then", Hermione patted the spot next to her on the ground and motioned for him to join. "Truce?"

"Truce." Hermione rested her head against Draco's shoulder. "I was wondering if you wanted to join me and my parents for lunch over Christmas break? Apparently my mom really wants to meet the person who brightens up my life." Draco said looking down at the tired girl on his shoulder. "She thinks that my owl letters have been more joyful lately. Whatever that means."

"Alright", she said while a yawn slipped out. Draco laughed at her tired state and started to run his fingers through her hair to help her fall asleep faster, and suddenly she couldn't keep her eyes open any longer.
