*3 week time skip*

-Kai's P.O.V-

Lloyd and I groan as the cries start again from across the hall. I pull the pillow over my head and Lloyd nudges my foot under the comforter.

"Kai" He whispers, voice raspy from sleep. "Get Opal, I got her last time."

I groan again as I sit up and rub my eyes, trying to get ride of the tiredness like a dog would with flees. I swing my feet to the left and let my my feet hit the cold wood. I tippy-toe to the other side of the room and open the door with a creak as Opal's cries increase in sound. I open the door to find Opal wide wake in her white wood crib; her little hand grip the thick bars as her eyes go wide with joy from the sight of her father getting her attention and finally quites her cries.

"baba!"

"Hey Opal." I say softly 

"baba!"

"Why were you crying?"

"baba!"

"You hungry?"

"baba!"

"I could say anything and you would reply with Nonna, Opal, daddy or baba."

"daddy!" Opal screeches raising her hand to be picked up.

"You want to see daddy? Is that why you were crying? Just to see daddy?" I say picking Opal up and putting her on my hip as we walk across the hall. before going in I look down at Opal and put my pointer finger to my lips. Opal copies me and I open the door and sit on the shared bed placing Opal in my lap.

"What did she want?" lloyd mumbles sitting up and hugging my back hiding his face in my shirt as his messy locks brush against my neck.

"Opal-"

"OPAL IS GONE WHAT HAPPENED! KAI IS GOING TO LOSE IT!" Jay yells from Opal's room

"FORGET KAI! LLOYD IS GOING TO FUCKING KILL!"

"FUCK! COLE REMEMBER TO GO MY FUNERAL!" 

"JAY WE BOTH WILL BEING IN A FUCKING COFFIN IF WE DON'T FIND OPAL!"

By now Lloyd is about to run out the door but I stop him and nod my head to an occupied Opal as she playes with my fingers. Then there is some shuffling and whispers I can just hear.

"Fuck fuck fuck fuck fucky fuck!"

"I won't tell if you won't?"

"you've got a deal Jay"

"You guys weren't going to tell us Opal was gone-" Lloyd was cut short on his sentence as he opened the door by Opal

"Fuck?" She says and Lloyd, Cole, Jay and I all go pale and freezes like statues.

"Fuck!" She giggles like this is a game "Fuck!" She throws her hands in the air in happiness at her new words

"Fuck!"

"Opal sweety, Uncle Jay needs you to stop saying that before daddy throws a tantrum on Uncle Cole-"

"FUCK!" Opal yells then giggles as she continues to play with my fingers. Zane and Nya come out of there rooms in panic at Opals outburst. I hand over Opal to Nya as they go onto the deck away from were I was about to have a go at Cole and Jay for teaching my daughter a new word a 9 month year old shouldn't know!"

"COLE YOU ASSHOLE! MY 9 MONTH DAUGHTER SHOULDN'T KNOW HOW TO SAY FUCK! SHE SHOULDN'T EVEN BE TALKING NOW! YOUR SUCH A BIG FUCKING ASSHOLE!"

"I'm sorry! I didn't know Opal was in there! I heard her cries but they stopped and I thought my favorite niece was kidnapped!"

"Opal is your only niece" Jay mumbles looking at his feet.

"Jay you really shouldn't have a child related to you or near you for to long or they might become like you and ruin the human population even more than you already have. Of course I know Opal is my only niece I'm just trying to sugar coat my apology!" Cole say and smacked the back of Jay's head.

We Then hear soft giggling and behind Cole I can see Sensei holding Opal as she giggles playing with his beard.

"Who has taught my granddaughter a new word?"

"Um...." We all say at the same time

"Cole"

"Lloyd"

"Kai"

"Jay did!"

"No I didn't!"

"I didn't even say fuck Cole!"

Opal then starts to cry from the loud yelling and I run over to her and cradle her in my arms.

"Excuse me" I say walking into Opals room and shutting the door behind me.

"Opal, Its okay​. No more yelling." I whisper leaning on her crib as I sway back and forth. She just yawns in response and quiets her crying.

"Long morning?" I ask to her as she closes her blue eyes clear as the sky. I kiss her forehead and place her in the crib. before walking out I turn on her baby monitor and turn off her light.

I open the door and to my surprise no one was still in the hallway. I go into the living room and see Nya and Jay in the kitchen as Lloyd and Cole sit on the couch having a conversation. They act like nothing just happened I go and sit next to Lloyd.

"Good Morning" He says as Cole continues his game.

"Good Morning too even thought we both have been up for like 15 minutes" I laugh placing the baby monitor on the coffee​ table.

"Breakfast is ready!" Nya calls

"Be there in a second!" Cole yells keeping his gaze on the T.V. Lloyd and I get up. I grab the baby monitor and sit on the wooden chair.

"What about Opal? Is she joining us?" Sensei asks.

"She eats at 10. Its only 9:15." Lloyd mumbles digging right into his pancakes.   

When we finish eating it was 9:45 so Nya, the team and I were about to go on a quick dragon race when the baby monitor goes off.

"Your turn Lloyd!" I yell and run out the door with the rest of the team as  lloyd takes his turn attending to Opal.
