I stood shocked at my realization, Jake is the son of the enemy and doesn’t even know.

I turn around and start running back to the bounty. I gotta tell everyone what just happened!

When I open the door I’m greeted by everyone and bombarded with questions and chastisements of leaving. I stop to catch my breath with my hands on my knees.

“Lindsay *Inhale* Jake *Inhale* Children *Inhale* Morro *Inhale* Need *Inhale* Me *Inhale* Danger” I finish and everyone is silent as Jake walks into the room now dry.

“OPAL! WHAT HAPPENED!” Jake yells running to my side and letting me lean on him. After taking a second to regain my breath I finally speak.

“Jake, I found something out your not gonna like.”

“What is it?” He asked

“I know who your dad is.” And his face lights up with joy but before he can say anything I continue. “I wouldn’t get to happy. Your dad is Morro. I’m sorry. But Lindsay is also your sister, and she has Morro’s wind powers. And she said that Morro is coming back, but for that to happen, they need me.” I finish

“Oh….. Well I don’t care about Morro. Why do they need you?” he asked putting an arm around your shoulders

“I don’t know, she just disappeared with a gust of wind.” I say

“Just like what happened in the park……..”
“What do you mean?” I asked

“The disappearing with the wind, After she pushed me down the hill and into the river she disappeared with a gust of wind.”

“SO SHE HAS MORRO’S WIND POWER! WHAT! WHY!!!!” Uncle Jay screams with his hands in the air and running in circles

“Yes Jay, she probably has Morro’s powers.” Aunt Nia says putting a hand on Uncle Jays shoulder to try and calm him down.

“Well, We beat Morro once so why can’t we do it again?” Dad says

“Well I’m not Morro! You can’t beat me with water!” A voice yells and a gust pushes everyone to the ground. I’m pulled up by the back of my shirt and from the look on Jakes face I Know who is holding me in the air.

“Lindsay let her go!” Jake screams trying to get up but is pushed to the ground by wind. I struggle in her grip but it’s hard. Like the air around me has become stiff or solid. Preventing me from moving. Her power is nothing like Morro’s. She’s using something completely different.

“Guys! She doesn’t have Morro’s powers-” all the air leaves my body all at once and I’m dropped to the ground coughing and having trouble taking air in. I’m stuck gasping for air on my knees but no matter how much I take in I still need more.

“Shut up!” Lindsay yells kicking my side, once again depleting all the air in my lungs.

“Why do you need my Niece?” Uncle Zane asks trying to not get Lindsey mad.

“Well all I really need is Jake, but I know that it would be easier to have him hand himself over, in trade for this red rat.” Lindsay says motioning to me.

“Why? How would he be any different?” I ask now sitting on my legs.

“Because he would attack with his powers.”

……Powers? Did she just say powers?

Then Lindsay is thrown into the wall, By some kind of……. snow? Jake has his hands out and his trying to briery Lindsay with his snow. But Lindsay just laughs and blows the building pile of snow away with a swift movement of her hand.
