~~Ok so this is really F*ckin late so I stayed up late to finish this chapter and make it way longer than I was going to and then i'm staying up even later than I should to write the next chapter and post that today aswell, even though i need to wake up early cuz i'm supposed to hand out with a friend. N I just watched What's Your Number? So i'm freakin out n i wanna go to sleep so i can dream about it so yeah. Wow i just did a really long rant so sorry. enjoy.

"I swear I've seen this girl before!"

I look over to my left. Some guy was going on about how he'd seen this actress or whatever before but couldn't quite place where from.

"Fuck! I know I've seen her before!"

I'd tried my best to tune him out but he kept rambling on -to himself I might add- about this familiar face on a movie cover. I had only glanced at him once while I browsed from a few feet away. A friend of mine said she was coming over tonight and that I absolutely had to get this movie to watch. I had no idea what it was about or what it was rated, but if Claire thought it was good then it must be.

I scanned the shelves various times. This was supposed to be where the movie was. I sighed. I guess they didn't have it. I pulled my phone out of my back pocket, about to text Claire and tell her we'd have to find another movie, when there was a light tap on my shoulder. I turned around. The man who had been going on about some girl was now standing before me.

I raised an eyebrow to him, though I took this opportunity to study him. He was tall, about six foot maybe, with golden brownish hair. He had creases in his forehead that were noticeable when he made different facial expressions, and his eyes were a piercing blue. Not to mention his muscles. All these came together to make him look intimidating but also soft. It was an odd combination, but I liked it.

"Miss, I couldn't help but notice that you look an awful lot like the young lady on this movie." He held out the movie so I could have a look. I placed my hand on it, gently tilting it so I could have a better look considering he still held it in his hand. I nodded letting go.

"Yes, that's true." I stated crossing my arms over my chest. He did the same, the movie still clasped in his hand. "What's your point?"

"Well, I was just wondering if it was in fact you."

I pinched my nose, letting my arms drop. "Yes, that's me." I said groaning a little.

"Really?" he asked in disbelief. "I'm an actor myself." he smiled, and I returned it with a 'nice to know' look. He chuckled a bit. I looked at my watch.

"I guess we had the same idea then." I said, referring to how close to closing it was and considering we were both actors... in a video rental store.

"I believe we did."

"Um, sorry, to ask this but have you seen the move What's Your Number? a friend of mine is coming over and she insists that we watch it, but I haven't been able to find it."

He leans forward, pulling out a film from behind some other movies. "You mean this one?" he spins it in his fingers before showing me the cover.

"Yes, I believe that's the one." I said happily. He handed it to me and I took it in my grasp."How did you find it? I swear I stared at this shelf for 10 minutes trying to find it!"

"You just have to know how to look," he shrugged with a chuckle. I laughed too.

"Thank you..."

"Chris."

"Chris, but I have to be off now. I don't want to keep my friend waiting."

"No problem," he smiled, his hands were now buried deep in his pockets and shoulders were slightly hunched. I smiled back, heading towards the registers.
