Chapter 53

a Month later

"David Miles?" I rushed to the front desk, "Room 204" The nurse looked at the computer, I hurried  and ran down the hall "200, 202 ah 204" I opened the door "Hey" David smiled, I walked over and hugged him, he groaned in pain "Sorry" I let go "It's alright" He chuckled "What happened?, Natalie called crying" I asked worried "ahh your not going to like this" he lifted his shirt "Oh my God, David what hell happened?" I asked "Some guy tried jumping me and Natalie was with me, and when I wouldn't give him what he wanted he stabbed me" He looked at me "Okay yeah it's official you guys are moving in with us" I stood up "You don't have the room" He looked at me, I paced "We do actually" I looked back at him "I just moved into the one half of the basement" Which was true we just moved and our basement is split into two, one half is my bedroom and the other half is a small recording studio "I'll have someone over at your apartment in an hour" I went over and kissed his cheek and left.... Did I forget to mention we're kinda together now?

"What color did you want your bedroom?" I asked Natalie as we looked at painting supplies 'Can I have it Pink with Purple stripes?" She asked looking up at me "It can be anything you want, we can even make it Hello Kitty" I smiled "Hello Kitty!" She excitedly jumped up and down "Okay settle down, let's pick out the colors then we can pick out wall decals then go on from there" we walked over and got a baby pink, a light lilac purple and walked over and got the paint, we then got some small Hello Kitty wall decals and paid for everything, we soon got home and she went running towards Josh "Hug Time!" she yelled, Josh turned around and hugged her "Hey Bug, You pick  out what color you want your room?" he asked, she shook her head, he set her down "Well I better get to work then" He smiled he walked over and took the paint cans to her room "Pink and Purple Stripes!" I yelled "Got it!" He gave me a thumbs up, soon Tyler and jenna came home with the grocery's "Hey Kiddo" Jenna smiled "Hi Jenna" Natalie smiled, soon the movers came with all of Davids and Natalie's things and I saw they didn't have much, just two beds a few blankets, pillows, a dresser and a Couch, no Tv or anything "Hey Tyler do you might watching Natalie for a bit?" I asked "Yeah mo problem" He walked over "Where are you going?" He asked I pointed towards the couple things that were brought over "Natalie doesn't even have a proper bed for a kid her age so I'm going a little shopping"  and with that I was gone

I went to Target and Walmart, I got David some clothes and a new cover and sheet set and some shoes, then I got Natalie a Hello Kitty lamp, covers and sheet set, got her some clothes and shoes and a few new toys, I went back home and Tyler helped me with everything "the new bed's should be here in a few days" I told them "Alright" Josh gave a thumbs up, soon my phone went off and it was David telling me the hospital told him he could come home "Hey do you guys got this? David just said that he could come home" I asked "Yeah go on ahead" Tyler smiled "Okay" I hugged them "Be back soon" I got in the car and left

"Wait till you get home" I smiled looking at David "Why?" He asked rasing a eyebrow "Did a little bit of shopping" I lookd back at the road "You didn't have to" He groaned "I wanted to" I mocked him "Meanie" He huffed "I know" I chuckled, we got back home and Natalie came running in "David, C'mere, C'mere" She motioned him to follow him, we walked through the hall and she stood at her door "Look what Josh did for me" She opened the door "Wow" He smiled "Your room is beautiful" He looked at her "Did you tell Josh thank you?" He asked, she went over to josh who had paint on his face "Thank you Josh" She hugged him "Anything for Princess Natalie" He bowed, she giggled and ran out the door and into the living room "Now your room" I lead him to the room. I opened the door and it was a deep blue with a walk in closet "Wow" he smiled "it's been awhile since I actually had a room to myself" He rubbed the back of his neck "We also put in a special feature" I walked over and moved the wall a bit that lead into Nat's room "So In case she has a bad dream she can just come right in" I smiled "Hi josh" I waved as he was finishing putting up the wall decals "Oh Hey" He smiled, I turned around and David was in complete amazement "Glad you like it" I chuckled.
