Chapter 7

Alice's POV

The guys had just finished the video for Heathens and we were heading home after celebrating

"So You ready to hear the song Yet?" Tyler asked

"Is it up on YouTube yet?" I asked

"No" Josh said

"Then No" I said as we walked into the house

"Why Not?" Tyler asked

"Cause I don't think it's fair for me to see it before everyone else" I said as I walked upstairs to my room

"Again You haven't changed" Tyler chuckled

"Well the video will be up in a week anyways" Josh added

I went up to my room and grabbed my guitar and walked back downstairs and went into the backyard the sun was setting the sky was so beautiful with its Orange, Red and Purple sky I sat down by the pool and started singing Hold On Till May by Pierce The Veil

As I was singing I heard the sliding glass doors open a little bit but I didn't pay much attention.

Josh's POV

"Hey Where did Alice go?" Tyler asked

"She went out back" I said we both got up and walked out she was sitting there playing her guitar then we heard her singing

Darling you'll be okay she said if you were me you'd do the same and I can't take anymore I draw the shades and close the door everything's not alright I would rather...

You could tell she was about to start crying I nugged Tyler he looked at me I moved my head to go inside which we both did we sat down on the couch

"It's my fault isn't it?" Tyler looked at me

"What do you mean?" I asked

"That she feels like this, that mom abused her and that I wasn't there to help her sooner" He then put his hands on his head and began to cry

"No it's not your fault, nothing's your fault dude" I said rubbing his back

"But I feel like it is" He looked at me he then got up

"I'm going to bed" He then walked upstairs and slammed his door shut I then heard a noise and saw Alice standing there.

Alice's POV

I walked inside the house when I heard Tyler and Josh talking

"That she feels like this, That mom abused her and I wasn't there to help her sooner" Tyler cried

"It's not you fault, nothing's your fault dude" Josh tried to comfort him

"I feel like it is" Why was he blaming himself? Nothing's his fault

I heard footsteps going upstairs I walked into the living room with tears in my eyes

"I'm going to bed" Tyler then slammed his door making me jump Josh let out a sigh he turned and saw me

"Why is he blaming himself?" I began to cry Josh brought me into a hug

"I don't know" He sighed

I went upstairs and went knock on Tyler's door I heard crying then a ukulele I sighed and wrote a note

Nothing's your fault Tyler you had no idea what mom was doing please don't beat yourself up cause of it

I then slid it under the door and went to my room and got ready for bed.
