Chapter 6: We're gonna be alright

When we got home there was no sound once so ever. She comes out the bathroom and I ask her, “Did you find everything okay.”

“Yeah.” She said softly.

“Well you can sleep on the couch bed until I can get that back room cleaned out.” I said.

“Thanks for everything.” She said

“No problem.”

“I got a question.” She said.

“What is it?” I asked.

“Can I call you dad?”

“Sure anytime.” I said laughing

“Cool.” she said. I walk away to go to my room but I stop when she says,

“Daddy?”

“Yes”
“Nothing I just wanted to see if you would answer.” She said. with a big smile.

“Good night Genevieve.” I said.

“Good night” She said.
