the girl in the dress wore a different dress

i saw the girl in the dress again today.

this time she was wearing a short black dress with long lacy sleeves.

she was also sitting near the tree again, only she was on the pathway.

i said hello to her.

she waved back.

i asked why she was sitting in the middle of the sidewalk.

she shrugged.

i said goodbye.

i turned around to unlock my car, and when i got in and looked over to where she was just a second ago,

she was gone. yet again.

i was very confused.
