"Harry!" I yell as soon as I spot him, standing in the middle of the white sand. "Harry!" I yell again, this time louder.
His head shoots up, and his eyes meet mine.
The thunderstorm is around us is growing closer and stronger by the second.
The ocean is becoming more and more out of control.
"Leighton!" He calls out, his hair blowing wildly in the strong wind. He starts to run towards me at full speed, sand flys up everytime his feet hit the beach.
He takes my face in his hands as soon as he reaches me. "Leighton," he sighs, nearly out of breath. "Where have you been? I've been so worried."
"I'm here. I'm here." I say as a huge crack of lightning lights up the sky. I wrap my hands around his neck and lean into his chest. "I'm here." I repeat.
"I didn't know if I would ever see you again." He says with a shaky voice as he looks at me, his eyes beginning to tear up.
"Me either." I take his face in my hands and look at him straight in the eyes. "But I'm here now ok? And that's all that matters."
He leans down and kisses me, more passionate than he ever has before.
Suddenly, none of this matters. The raging thunderstorm around us doesn't matter, all the crap we've been through in the past couple of months doesn't matter, nothing matters except the boy in front of me.
"What's gonna happen to us?" I ask as we pull away.
"I don't know." He sighs, and I can tell that he really doesn't know. "But I can tell you what I do know, after everything we've been through, we are most certainly not going to die by getting shocked by lightning." He was as he looks up at the wild sky.
I giggle. I can tell he's trying to lighten the mood. "Okay." I agree, as I take his hand in mine. "We can do this."
"We can do this." He repeats after me as we walk towards the street we live on. "Don't ever leave me."
"I can promise that won't happen." I look up at him, the boy that means the world and more to me.
"Where do you think you're going? We have unfinished business to settle." A voice with a heavy English accent calls from behind us.
Harry whips around and his eyes grow wide with fear.
"Leighton, run! Run!" He yells as we both take off down the street.
This is it, this is our last chance to end this.
