Harry steps towards me. “Nice to meet you uh… Leighton was it?” He says with a mischievous grin. I know exactly what he’s doing.

I smile back at him, deciding to play into his game. “Yeah I’m Leighton.” I say. “Nice to meet you too, Henry, right?”

“It’s Harry actually.” He says glaring at me with a small smirk.

A waitress comes and taps Robin on the shoulder.  “Sir, your table is ready.” She says.

“Ah come on gang! Table’s ready!” Robin says and heads into the restaurant, as the rest of the group follows behind him. The main part of the restaurant is even more extravagant than the lobby. Large slender windows that reach all the way to the ceiling are open and have white curtains flowing freely behind them. There is a chandelier above nearly every table, and once again a magnificent view of the ocean is available.

I look over at Harry. He seems to be in just as much awe as me, if not more, as we make our way through the restaurant. He looks up and turns around slightly, taking it all in. It’s kind of adorable actually.

He catches me looking at him. “What are you looking at?” He says, a smile playing on his lips.

“Nothing.” I say looking away, smiling to myself.

We sit down at a long table. Harry sits directly across from me, and my brother sits by the adults further down. The waitress takes our drink orders and Harry and I both get waters.

“Looks like you are following me, Leighton.” He says leaning back in his chair slightly.

“I am not!” I say.

“Whatever.” He laughs.

“So,” I say. “Why on Earth did you move from England to Florida?”

“Step dad got a new job, and mom wanted to come with.” He says casually. “Plus I needed a fresh start.” A look of regret appears on his face as soon as he says that, but I decide to leave it alone for now, he looks uncomfortable. “How long have you lived here?” He asks me, changing the subject.

“Well I was born in Georgia, but I moved here before I turned one.”

“And you’ve lived here ever since?”

“Yep.” I say “But I love it here so it’s ok.”

“Yeah, it’s a nice community.” He agrees.

Harry asks me more questions about my childhood and my interests. I tell him some basic facts and a couple stories from when I was younger but I don’t learn much about him.

When we finally get our food, it’s delicious, and everyone eats quickly.

When we are finally ready to leave we head back to the lobby to say our goodbyes.

“See you later Harr-“ I start to say to Harry before he cuts me off.

“Sir, can I drive Leighton home? I have my own car.” He asks my father. My father considers it for a moment before agreeing. “Sure I don’t see why not, it’s only 8.” He says patting Harry on the shoulder. “Just have her home by midnight, okay?”

“Yes sir.” He says before turning to face me. “Come on, Leighton.”

For some reason, I actually start to feel some fear before he leads me out of the restaurant to his car.
