"Watch out you prick!" A drunk boy almost falls over me tripping over nothing and I manage myself somehow.
"Watch your steps dude!" Carrie pushes him away and the boy walks away winking at me.
"Don't worry. Actually Sarah is the most famous girl in throwing parties from our college. So people come here, random people. Once I introduce you to her, none will even look at you in a bad manner." She grabs my hand and leads me towards the house.
A sweet yet disturbing smell of something and rock music has fulfilled the entire area. I don't know what to cover, my nose or my ears! I want to curl up into a ball and hide under any table.
Again, I'm feeling like an alien among these people. A boy with a lot of piercings passes by me and I feel a shiver covering my whole body.
"That girl there with purple short hair is Sarah. Don't be taken by her look like I did by mistake the first time I saw her ." I swallow the big lump in my throat watching the girl standing at a two or three feet distance from me. She has piercing in her eyebrows, bottom lip, nose, under her chin and.....who knows where else. Her body is covered with green, blue and black inks.
"Carrie! I expected you earlier!" She comes towards us and pulls Carrie in a tight hug.
"Sorry, my hair was not getting properly curled." Carrie laughs and pushes Sarah away.
"Hi Joey the kind daddy!" Sarah punches a boy on his stomach playfully who appears in front of us all of a sudden. He takes revenge of the punch by messing Sarah's hair. Then her eyes fall over me and she looks at me from tip to toe.
"I haven't seen you at our college yet!" Sarah chuckles.
"This is Snow, she's friends with me and she's not from our college." Carrie tells and Sarah pulls me into a hug.
"Hi. I'm Joey, Carrie's boyfriend." The black haired boy tells and we both shake hands.
"Nice to meet you guys." I tell looking at all of them.
"Welcome Snow! Your long hair reminds me of the princess tales from my childhood." Sarah giggles and asks some basic things about myself.
During our conversation I remind myself what has Carrie said to me earlier. Really I would've done wrong if I judged Sarah by her looks. Her behavior is as cute as her look. I'm loving their company anyway. The four of us walks to the bar stools and take seats. After a while Carrie and Joey leaves for a dance, leaving Sarah and me alone.
"So your boyfriend lives here too?" Sarah asks.
"I'm single and really don't want to mingle." I chuckle, making her laugh.
"But it's risky to be single for pretty girls like you." She smirks and passes me a tiny glass of something.
"I don't drink hard drinks." I deny, smiling.
"People should experience everything in life because you don't know what's bad before you face it. Come on! A little drink will do nothing; it's not so strong anyway." She coos but I decide to stand strong in my decision.
"S! Some badasses have created a mess there!" A girl with bloodshot eyes runs to us panting for air.
"Enjoy the party Snow! I've to kick some asses." Sarah walks away with the girl and now I'm alone.
