"No! No! Please don't go Mike! Mike stop.........."
I finally open my eyes and switch on the bedside lamp. I pour myself a glass of water and end up breaking the glass accidentally before even having a sip.
"Cool." Sighing deeply, I climb out of the bed and look at the table clock on the night stand. It's 7 am and I'm walking in my boyfr.......ex boyfriend's house like a zombie. I decide to take a quick shower and then go downstairs.
Days have passed I have been living here with Mani, in her house. Madison hasn't come to the house since we broke up.
"Snow White is up alredy?" Mani asks as I sit down on the counter.
"I guess so." I smile tugging some hair behind my ears.
"Still having those nightmares?" She asks filling two plates with breakfast. The question doesn't surprise me because Mani knows every single thing about my childhood.
"Mhm hmm." I reply taking a bite of the delicious apple pie from my plate.
"We're going for a shopping today and let me assure one thing cunning lady," She pulls me by my ear dramatically, "You're not going to argue about money till I'm your mum. I'm paying everything for you." She leaves my ear and I caress the place with my hands to ease the temporary pain.
"But Mani............."
"No buts! Just get your butt ready for some lady time!" She snaps.
"I just wanna say that I want to get a part time job maybe and get ready for my undergraduate studies, shouldn't I say goodbye to my homeschooling system and credit cards?" I ask leaving a depressed breathe and Mani nods before walking to the dishwasher.
"If you want so, I'll let you to do so, to be an independent girl. But never think that you'll be a burden on me. Earning by your own will grow your confidence." She tells and I nod.
"I want you to continue your education without any interruption. I think it'll be good if you study in such a place where nobody knows you. I wanted you to study somewhere here but watching the common faces again and again may refresh your past memories you know. Just suggesting, it's up-to you. " She tells.
"No you're right. I know my father's men will find me anytime but I can at least hide for the longest time possible. Maybe his plans will change by time. To be honest, I really miss him." My voice cracks and Mani keeps her hand on mine.
"I hope so." She smiles. "But remember, Mani's doors will always be open for you and it'll be closed for everyone when you'll be inside Mani's door." She dabs her finger under her eye and I hug her tightly.
"I know Mani, I love you. I thought you'll hate me after hearing about Harry and will misunderstand me after my and Madison's breakup, but you didn't. Thanks." I tell while tears keep rolling down my eyes.
"Never think like that again." She pushes me gently from her and cups my cheeks with her trembling hand. She plants a soft kiss on my forehead.
"Now let's go to shopping huh?"
"Yes, I'll be downstairs in ten minutes." I smile and walk to my room. I grab a white button down full sleeve shirt and wear my black jeans with it. Tying my hair into a long ponytail and sliding on my shoes, I go downstairs and see Mani sitting on the couch.
