Nic's POV
I can't believe I just bit her, part of me wants to just knock her out and leave her in her apartment to look like she came home drunk and passed out on the couch. But I can feel my demons protesting. I tried to keep him from taking over my body but he just kept fighting. When she gave me her blood it soothed him, but he wanted more so I bit her neck feeding from her, now we are half mated. It took everything in my will power not to jump her right then and there and fuck her till she saw stars.

I narrow my eyes at her, why would my demons choose a human for a mate. Ugh this is going to cause problems since I will have to take her back home. She looks at me terrified, I guess I'm just going to have to steal her. I look at Zara then tell her, "I'm taking her home, with me,"in Russian. She looks ready to protest.

"You are not the most sensitive person, Nic," she replies.

"You think I can't take care of her," I snarl.

"I know you can but she will be frightened and angry. She will not be happy that you took her,"she says shaking her head.

"There are ways to make people change their minds," I smirk.
She was on me so fast with a knife at my throat. "Nicola she is an innocent," she hisses.

"You think I would force my self on her." I'm in shock that she thinks so low of me, than I am upset.

"You are not very nice when it comes to women, I will come with you to guarantee she is safe."

"You must leave me alone with her so I can get to know her."

She brings the knife closer to my throat. " I give you one week, then I will come to the island. I don't care if your my queen or not, if there is one mark on her skin I will shoot first, ask questions second." I know she is serious but I want to lighten the mood.

"But you know I play ruff, I can't guarantee she has no marks," I tease. She laughs and puts the knife down.

"I'm serious, humans over here don't have super healing. But they do have strong spirits she is perfect for you."

"You know, I can't marry her. It will just be a little fling till my demon is sastified then I will break the half bond. While she is there I will find out why my demon mated with her. Maybe she is a orphan."

"She is not an orphan she would have gone insane. She is too old the demon would have been tried to take over around puberty," she shakes her head. She turns to leave,

"Oh, and Nic a broken heart is worst than any wound."

I look over to the girl, she is swaying a little on her feet. I guess I must have took too much blood.

"What's your name," I say in English.

"Maya Evans, your highness." I was trying to figure out how I was going to get her home when she made the decision for me by passing out.

"Grab her let's go."
