December 11th

"Hey Harry!"
"Are you and Nick back together?"

Harry's gaze grows cold behind his shades. He knows better than to listen to the paps. They know about as much as a rock did.

This next one, though definitely caught his attention.

"Are you dating Louis Tomlinson?"

His head snaps up as fast as humanly possible. Cold rushes through his veins as he realizes the mistake he's just made. He tries to cover it up by looking past them, but he has shades on and with the amount of ignorance radiating off of these paps, he knows it's too late. They know his reaction would give them a slew of drama to write about.

Harry has never hated them as much as he does now. So he feels like absolute shit when he chooses his next words.

"Think you've got him mistaken for Nick," he manages a smirk before entering his black Range Rover. The paps go crazy at his comment, maybe because they just realized how much of a raise they're getting today.

He drives off to a deserted parking lot and proceeds to bang his head on the wheel. Why did he say that. Why would he ever say such a thing. He hates Nick. And now Louis has to hear from all around the world that Nick and him are back together. He lifts his head up and bangs it back against the wheel.

"Fuck my life," he whispers.

Louis chases Caleb across the living room, a letter crumpled up in his tiny hand.

He doesn't get very far, considering his tiny legs can't move so fast.

"Got ya," Louis chuckles, grabbing the note and kissing him on the cheek.

"That's mine, love," he murmurs against Caleb's cheek. Caleb just giggles and wiggles out of Louis' grasp to run to the tree being set up by the fireplace.

"What's that?" His mom asks, hanging the ornaments on the tree.

"The letters from Haz," he smiles shyly, swinging the note around like a little high school girl.

"Oh yeah, how are those coming along?" She smiles.

"I know you two were going through a rough time, what with the knife accident and all," she adds.

"Yeah," Louis runs a hand through his hair.

"It was a misunderstanding from my part but everything seems to be going swell. He's different, you know?" He says, looking down at the letter in his hand. He plays with it a bit before gazing back up at his mom.

He jumps a little at the way his mother is looking at him. Caleb is looking at his mom confusedly.

"What?" He asks.

"Never seen you this happy about someone before," she smiles.

Louis scoffs at her, knowing full well she's telling the truth.

"Well, yeah. He's a pretty great guy and uhm.. I didn't think he was going to be the one but you know, some things just... uhm... happen?" Words are coming out of his mouth, but he doesn't even know what he's saying.

"I understand, honey," she's beaming by know, the ornaments forgotten.

He's shaking his head at his own endearment towards Harry.

"I'm gonna go call him," he stands, moving to his room.

"Have fun," she yells.

"Have fun," Caleb mimicks.
