Chapter-12
Ivy
“Hey, I would like you to meet Jonathan, the man with money” Chris winked at me. And by his side there was a tall guy, light brown hair. Short actually, blue eyes and way to fair. My type.
“Hie.” I waved my hands. Whereas he greeted me with his palm held forward. I shook his hands. And Chris hissed in ears, loud enough for me to hear. “At least now flirt.”
Jonathan noticed I heard that. He smiled shyly and looked at me “Sorry, he is too obsessed with me having a girlfriend.”
“Well, it’s okay. I guess he is just jealous.” The moment those words left my lips, for unknown reasons as to why I actually said that. Jonathan laughed and Chris was way to embarrassed with that gesture of mine.
“Oh! Common you’re taking his side Ivy. Not fair.”
“She is Ivy?” Jonathan’s eyes were wide open.
Well, how interesting a man with money knows me. I bet now I would like to meet his girlfriend.
“Yah, you know me?” Should not have asked.
“Yah, my girl talks about how pretty and bold you are with your personality.”
What was that supposed to mean?
“Kendal talks about her?” Chris asked as he turned to Jonathan.
“Kendal is supposed to be in our school, that she knows me?” I asked Jonathan ignoring Chris.
“So many question at the same time why don’t’ we go and meet them.”
I was not that interested in what he was talking after that, because my eyes were glued on one guy. Tall like Jonathan, brown big eyes. Light brown hair. Cut short. Spiked let me add, and what like he was wearing an Armani, definitely not from Phoenix. And even if he is not from this school. Which reminded me that even Jonathan is not from this school then how?
“Hey, you’re not from this school are you. Then how are you in the prom party?” I asked Jonathan, in middle of his and Chris’s conversation.
“I told you my girl is in this school, and I am the former student and football player. The best ones let me add. So I got the permission from the headmaster and here I am.”
“Oh, detailed answer.” I winked at him. And we all were laughing, god knows for what.
Then again my eyes stuck on that hot person standing across me near the bar. Well, even he looked at me. And then I noticed a girl beside him. Smiling at him.
Girlfriend, always in my way.
Bad luck, and before I could figure out everything. We all three were walking to them.
Why were we walking towards them again?
Chris had his arms around my shoulder. But I was so busy staring at that sexy person in front of me, I was least bothered to say anything to Chris.
When we reached Jonathan broke the good long silence we had, which just included staring at each other’s face.
“This is my girl Kendal, and my brother Logan.” Jonathan introduced me.
Phew! The girl belongs to Jonathan. Boy! Am I pleased to hear that.
All I could do was to shake hands with both of them. But when it came to Logan. His phone rang.
Damn it!
“How did you even know, the music is too loud.” Kendal asked shouting on top of the music. Since it had changed to some rap song, which I didn’t bother to listen as this hot Logan I could not take my eyes of him.
