Chapter-10

Ivy

Dear diary,

It’s already Thursday, and tomorrow Prom party. Then everyone will pass out of school in a months’ time. My family will be here. Praying, enjoying and missing me. Of course. I will move to L.A after two months. Since Tylor had called recently to inform me that my parents were there. And they have completed the formality of the college. And trust me I was so happy that I and Aal went for a long drive and ordered pizza. And watched movies all night long.

College life, friends, buddies all new. Faces new. But the only family I will have there is Tylor. He dint agree to place me in the same apartment as he and Fronia stays. But to place me just next to his apartment. Yes! I am my brother’s neighbor. That is so not good. Since I won’t see them having it, but hear it.

When I came back from shopping, Aal was asleep. I went to the room and tried calling Jo. Why? I don’t know. I still feel connected to him. It’s like he is the wolf who has imprinted on me. Yet, he cheats. And I go back to him like his slave. Bad, yes it is. Anyways, as expected he didn’t receive the phone.

I talked to Vicky next morning. And she told me to f his case, by making him jealous.

So, here I am writing to you. Early in the morning. I am going to find a jock in school, and give him my best shot.

I read what I had written almost three times to be sure of what I was going to do today. I will have to find a boy. Or else I’m doomed.

“Are you ready? I’m waiting like for fifteen minutes.” Aal yelled from downstairs.

I packed my bag up. And left.

I reached the school parking lot. And found my usual spot empty. I parked there. And I was looking through my bag. Aal had already left. She said she wanted to meet someone.

I wonder who that was, but never mind.

“Hey looser.” Someone said knocking on my window. I didn’t bother to roll down the glass. And just yelled. “This is my parking spot, if you’re new in school, you should know.”

Freshmen always needed to be informed. I mean common it’s my last few days. And you want me to change my parking spot. F u!

“Umm. If you noticed I’m not here to talk about your loser car and its parking spot, you loser.” She said again.

What the hell. Who is it?

I looked up, and saw the yellow band cheerleader again. Now what she wants me to give my life up for her? I directly came out of my car. Locked it and stood in front of her.

“What do you want?” I asked

“Well, I just want to inform you that you are no longer Jo’s girlfriend. So find someone else for the Prom.” She pointed at me. “Don’t ask Jo out. You got it?”

Now she is making me say it.

“Listen, miss. I have no intentions to steal your Jo away from you. You see I am not like you. Stealer.” Okay! That came out of no-where. “And yes, about the girlfriend stuff. You may want to note in your little brains. That I am Jo’s girlfriend. He has not official broke up with me yet.” I spat that ‘t’ on her face.

She had her jaw to the ground. Hi five! Then guess who, I saw Jo coming up to us. Guts.

“Hey ladies.” He greeted.

“Go fuck your lady. And never come back to me you dog.” I shouted at him. Showed him the middle finger and was about to leave.

“Hey baby! What did I do?” he asked innocently.
