Day 65; Time 03:00pm

Logan was paired with Kitty Charles with Devon Ajaz with me leaving Oscar without a partner. After Lunch Mr.P asked us to gather in the Activity room; we had no idea where it was until Logan called out to us that one of the blue doors in the lawn is open. So we went there and that was the Activity room.

We entered the door and passed through the long passage. Once we reached the room, I was glad that I changed into jeans and a polo shirt of Tylor with boots on.

The place was dark with only three four spotlights and two tube lights on either sides of the walls. There was sand and dirt on the floor, with two elastic bands on each divided three areas.

As the name was written the first divided area was of Charles and Devon followed by Logan and Kitty and then Ajaz and I. in front there were two TV. On the left hand side LCD was Oscar, he was watching us from inside the house through the living room TV and on the right hand side TV was a table with three columns and the number which was there was zero in all the three columns. The first one was ‘CD’ followed by ‘LK’ and ‘AI’ the initials of our names. Oscar was not allowed to come since he did not have a partner.

There was a paper on top of a side table, Charles read to everyone; it said that there were ten pumpkins on the end of the division. Both the partners has to put the elastic band around their chest and go to the end of the division and get the pumpkin. Once you get the pumpkin the other partner has to move forward and take it and return to other side. And then start all over again by going back to the original places.

It sounded easy but it was not. The partners shared the same elastic band so if one moves from the spot the other has to stay in the same place or the one who is going to take the pumpkin will return to the original place.

This one was the most difficult of the entire task we had done lately, you needed strength and brains. I had to win this task or else I would lose to Charles’s team. Oscar, Mandy and Devon were counting on me.

I asked Ajaz if I could go first and he nodded to me the moment I out my thirst step on the sand my legs went inside; the sand was dry at the first but later on like a swap in the end. The legs keep going inside and the elastic band just keeps on getting stretched.

After half- an hour or so I looked at the screen again; ‘CD’ had 4 points, ‘LK’ had 2 points and ‘AI’ had 7 points.

Our team was on the lead and there was only five minutes left on the countdown. I handed the  heavy pumpkin to Ajaz and he moved back. When he was doing that I had to stay in the same spot or else we both would drag back to the same position and start all over again.

My legs were paining and I was exhausted.

Day 65; Time 04:00pm

We were all tired as we came out of the Activity room. Oscar has made milkshakes and juices and he was serving all of us like we had come from a was or something. The TV was switched of and the lights were out in the last five second of the task. Everyone panicked but I had expected some twist in the task from Mr. P and it had been.

I asked Oscar if he had seen the score but he told me that the living room TV was blacked out at the same time too. We were all separated in the house; some went for a bath while others were taking a nap. Logan and I were in the kitchen making some snacks to eat. Things were quiet and tensed up until Kitty made her way on top of Logan.

I hate it! I don’t like jealousy. I like to make others jealous but when the feeling gets back to you it hurts. I could see fairly Logan was enjoying himself in the under the face of Kitty’s. I don’t like it when he does that, act like this I know he likes me.
