Chapter 9

Rosie was standing behind Anakin and Obi Wan in front of the Jedi Counsel. Everyone's eyes glued on them. Every Jedi Master was there, Master Yoda, Mace Windu, Ki Andi Mundi, and more. "Find this bounty hunter you must" Master Yoda said.

"And more importantly find out who is working for." Mace Windu said.

"What about the senator? Won't she need protection?" Rosie asked

"You and Skywalker will" Master Yoda said.

"You both will escort the senator back to her home planet Naboo. It shall be safer there. Don't use registered transport. You will go as refugees" Mace Windu said.

"As leader of opposition, it will be hard to get her to leave the capital." Anakin said.

"Until the killers caught, respect our judgment she must" Master Yoda said

"Anakin, go to the Chancellor and speak to him about this assignment" Master Windu finishes off. Rosie, Anakin, and Wan bow their heads and left.

Just then Rosie fell to the ground getting flash backs of her mother.

"Rosie!' Anakin yelled. Anakin and Obi Wan ran to Rosie.

"What is it?" Obi Wan asked

"Flash backs of my mother. She is in pain" Rosie said

"Do you want to stay here?" Anakin asked helping Rosie up

"No I can't. I'll be fine." Rosie said

"You sure?" Obi Wan asked

Rosie nodded. Anakin leaves to go to the Chancellor and Rosie keeps walking towards Padme's room.

"I will be taking an extended leave of absence" Padme told Jar Jar Binks. "It'll be your job to take my place as Senate."

"You sure you don't want to stay?" Anakin asked Rosie.

"I am sure Ani. Besides it is my duty to protect the senator from danger." Rosie said.

"Yes Malady" Jar Jar said. Padme walks over to Anakin and Rosie and looked like she was about to throw a fit.

"I don't like the idea of hiding." Padme said

"Don't worry they sent Master Obi Wan to look for the bounty hunter. Knowing him it won't take long." Anakin said. "Sometime we have to let go of our pride and do what is requested of us"

"That coming from you Ani" Rosie slightly joked

"wow you've grown" Padme said. Rosie nodded.

"Master Obi Wan manages not to see it" Anakin said walking over to Rosie. 

"I bet he does see it Ani" Rosie whispered.

"Don't get me wrong, Master Obi Wan is a great mentor" Anikan says playing with a metal ball. "He is wise like master Yoda and powerful like Master Windu." Anakin puts the ball in his hand. "I am very grateful to be his apprentice. In some ways. In a lot of ways, I am ahead of him. I am ready for the trials" Anakin said becoming angrier by the tone of his voice. "He says I am too unpredictable. He won't let me move on."

"That must be hard for you." Padme says.

"It gets worse." Anakin's anger shines through. "He's overly critical, he won't let me move on. It's not fair!" Rosie runs to him and put a hand on his shoulder. She could feel him shaking. Anakin turned around and smiled at her.

"Ani listen to me OK? Master Obi Wan wants the best for you. Just like Master Yoda wants the best for me. Master Yoda pointed out my mistakes when I was younger it is how we learn when we are younger." Rosie putting a hand on his cheek and smiled.

"I guess you are right Rosie" Anakin said while holding her hand.

"Just don't grow up too quickly OK?" Rosie asked.

"But I am grownup" Anakin said

"Stop" Rosie sighed. Padme went to her closet.

"Why?" Anakin asked.

"Because it's not right." Rosie said putting her hands down and walking towards Padme.

Rosie, Padme, Anakin, Obi Wan, and one of Padme's maidens all sat in a shuttle together. The shuttle lands and Padme starts walking toward the exit. "Be safe m'lady." The guard said.

"I will, captain" Padme said. She says something to her little maid. Rosie, Anakin and Obi Wan stand up.

"Anakin don't do anything without consulting me or the counsel first" Obi Wan said. Anakin nods.

"It is time to go" Anakan said.

"I know" Padme said.

Rosie, Anakin and Padme walked out of the shuttle.

"Padme?" Rosie asked as they sat down on another shuttle. The shuttle began to lift of.

"Yes Rosie?" Padme asked Rosie

"Can I tell you something? Promise you won't tell Ani?" Rosie asked padme. Padme nodded. "I like Ani." Padme looked happy.

"That is wonderful you should tell him Rosie." Padme said.

"No not yet" Rosie said.

Anakin sat down next to Padme.

"It must be awful to have sworn both of your lives to the Jedi" Padme said. "It must be hard to not visit the places you want to go"

"Or be with the people that I love" Anakin said looking down at Rosie.

"Are you even aloud to love?" Padme asks. "I thought it was forbidden for a Jedi" Rosie looks at her. 

"It is" Rosie said.

"Attachment is. Possession is forbidden. Compassion, or as I define it unconditional love," Anakin looked at Rosie. Rosie looked into his eyes for a moment and then looked back down. "Is an essential in a Jedi's life. So I guess in some ways you can say..we are encouraged to love"

"Were you born Queen?" Rosie asked as the shuttle landed. Anakin was carrying Padme's bags as he walked with Rosie and Padme.

"I wan't born queen I was elected. And now that I look back I think I wan't old enough" Padme says. "I am not sure I was ready."

"The people you served thought you did a great job though. I heard they even tried to amend the constitution so you could stay" Rosie said.

"I was relieved when my terms were up." Padme said

Rosie, Anakin, and Padme walk into a place with people in it. The queen was there. Rosie stands next to Anakin. They start talking about the war that was going on, but about the separatists.

"We must keep our faith in the Republic" with that the queen stood up along with the others. She stands over by Padme, and they Walked together.

"What do think we should do master Jedi?" a guy with a white beard asked Anakin.

"Oh Anakin isn't a Jedi yet. He is still a padawan in training." Padme sad. Anakin was got angry when Padme said that. Rosie bit her tounge trying to not to speak out of turn and to not embarrass Padme and Anakin in front of the queen 

"Wait a minute-" Anakin starts.

"Excuse me?" Padme said seriously to him. Rosie walks over to Anakin and puts a hand on his shoulder.

"And this is my home, I know it very well. That is why were are here." Padme said.

"Ani! Please just let it go OK" Rosie whispered. Anakin nodded. "I am so sorry m'lady" Anakin said looking back at Padme. "There happy?" Anakin whispered to Rosie with a hint of annoyance in his voice.

"Very" Rosie whispered back.And now that I am with you again...I'm in agony. The closer I get to you, the worst it gets. The thought with not being with you...I can't breathe. My heart is beating...hoping that kiss will not become a scar. You are in my very soul tormenting me...what can I do? I will do anything you ask...I am tormented by that kiss that shouldn't have happened. If you are suffering as much as I am, please say so. ~Anakin Skywalker
