When Rosie and Anakin got back, Rosie changed out of her picnic and into a dinner outfit. When they got to the table, a maid told them that Padme won't be joining them for dinner. Rosie grabs a pear and puts it on her plate, but Anakin used the force and put it on his plate.
"If Master Obi Wan saw me do this, he would be very cranky" Anakin said cutting the pear. Then he used the force to give one of the halves back to Rosie. Rosie grabs it with a fork and took a bite out of the piece. After dinner, Rosie wanders into a room. She dawdles over to the fireplace and stands in front of the roaring flames. "Interesting" She mumbles
"It isn't the only thing that is" Anakin said from behind her. Rosie sits on the couch Anakin sit besides her. "You are different Rosie"
Rosie huffs out a small laugh. "Strange. I have thought of myself very common." Anakin was gazing at her. "I'm not that special Ani."
"From the moment I met you, not a days gone by when I haven't thought about you. There isn't a day where I haven't thought about you" Anakin said
"Me too." Rosie says
"And now that I am with you again...I'm in agony. The closer I get to you, the worst it gets. The thought with not being with you...I can't breathe. My heart is beating...hoping that kiss will not become a scar. You are in my very soul tormenting me...what can I do? I will do anything you ask..." Anakin says. "I am tormented by that kiss that shouldn't have happened. If you are suffering as much as I am, please say so."
"I can't...I can't think when you are around me. You blur my mind. I wish that I never developed such things that make you attracted to me. I am putting you through so much pain. I can't bare to see you so sad. And I keep realizing that it isn't allowed." Rosie says getting up and walking over to the fire.
"We could keep it a secret" Anakin suggests
"But then we would be living a lie Ani. That lie would destroy our lives." Rosie said. "I am so terribly sorry Ani"
Anakin leaves the room. "I am too"
