Sunday Afternoon
Nialls POV:
I wrapped my arms around her and threw some popcorn in her mouth, hitting everywhere on her face expect her actual mouth itself.
"Hey!" She said laughing eating the popcorn. We were sat watching Titanic, her favorite movie.
"Why do you like this movie so much?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean… he dies in the end."
"Yeah, and even though he did she never forgets him. It’s a strong love, a love like no other." She said keeping her eyes locked on the television. Her face lit up completely when she talked about something she fancied or had an interest in, and that’s probably the cutest thing about her.
"If you could travel on the new Titanic coming out, would you?"
"Most defiantly."
"What if it sunk?"
"Guess we’d sink." She said shrugging her shoulders. I watched her in amusement and smiled.
"That’s it… we’d sink?"
"Yeah, it be worth the risk."
"Why?"
"Niall, everything we do it a risk anyways, anything could kill us, so we might as well had some fun and take them risk. I’d much rather die on a cruise ship than sitting at home."
"That’s true I guess. So you’re a bit of a dare devil?"
"Yes, when I turn 18 in March Haley and I are going Sky Diving."
"Hell no!" Is she crazy?
"Are you crazy?" She looked at me funny.
"What?"
"There’s no way you’re going to do that."
"Why?"
"Alicia, you were scared on the bridge last night and we were like 12 ft off the ground."
"So. I’m still doing it."
"You’re crazy, what else do you want to do?"
"I want to do it all!" I looked at her and she looked at me.
"Like…?"
"I want to visit all the states."
"I’m pretty close."
"I know, you’re lucky. You get to see places all over the world. What’s your favorite?"
"Here."
"Seriously Niall, where’s your favorite?"
"I’m being serious love, I love it here."
"To be honest… I’m ready to get out of here." She sighed and looked up at me. "I’m ready to see the world."
"You will." I kissed her forehead and hugged her tightly.
"When do you leave tomorrow?"
"I figured I could take you to school, pick you up, and then head to the airport."
"Really? That sounds great! I was afraid you’d leave in the morning."
"And miss another 2 hours with you? No."
The flashback on Titanic started and Alicia literally quoted the movie word for word.
"Alicia, I’m hungry. What snacks do we have left?"
