~Your POV~
I stared out of the window with a frown. All of the Reserve Course students stood there, yelling and throwing rocks at the Main Course buildings. Some were even trying to come in and attack us, only to be stopped by the Security Guards. The school called this a parade, but it was so much more than that. It was a protest, a strike, a war between the Reserve Course and the Main Course. It had happened so quickly that none of us knew until they were all running up to the school gates and yelling. The cause? A single email being sent to every Reserve Course student. It told the truth that Hope's Peak Academy was trying so desperately to hide. The truth that the school was taking part in Human Experimentation. The Izuru Kamukura Project. And the Student Council Killing Game that I had witnessed only a few nights ago. However, the truth was laced with lies as they were told that the product of the Izuru Kamukura Project was the one to kill the Student Council. Izuru may have been a different person to Hajime, but I knew that he would never do such a thing. He saved me, after all. He even stayed with me until I had woken up to make sure that I was alright. Whoever had written this email had obviously wanted chaos to ensue. They took advantage of the feelings of the Reserve Course students, who wanted an equal future. I didn't know much about this since the school kept everything hidden from us. I did know, though, that this would be hard to resolve and if it wasn't resolved soon, it would be the end of Hope's Peak Academy. I glanced at my classmates, who were standing beside me and watching the Reserve Course students too.
"The Reserve Course protests keep getting bigger." Chiaki pointed out with a concerned expression.
"You can't call this a protest." Ibuki scolded, knowing how much the school emphasised on this being a parade.
Peko, who was leaning against the wall, took this chance to speak. "In this school, which is our nation's hope, no student would demonstrate against the system. So that is a parade."
"What the hell? What kind of logic is that?" Kazuichi asked the question that we were all thinking.
"It is not my personal opinion. That is the way the faculty explained it." Peko responded.
"Tsk, some parade. I don't like it!" Fuyuhiko, who was sitting at the desk nearest to Peko, snarled.
"Forget about that." Nekomaru got our attention as he looked at us with a serious expression. "Did Mikan not come to school again today?"
Ah. Mikan. She had suddenly stopped coming to school, worrying me even further. Had the Reserve Course students found and fought with her? Or worse....
"Maybe that pukey pig ran off because the protests scared her...." Hiyoko said with that teasing smirk on her face. I could only hope that she was right about what she said and nothing had happened to her.
"But her stuff was still in the dorm room." Mahiru pointed out.
"I'm concerned." Sonia admitted and I could only nod in agreement.
The door opened and Miss Yukizome walked in with her usual cheerful attitude. "Class! Don't just stare out the windows! You should just look towards the shining future." she tried to motivate us as she walked inside.
"Miss Yukizome, are we really gonna be okay?" Ibuki asked her, tapping her fingers together nervously. "Ibuki is scared...."
"It'll be fine! But to be safe, don't go outside during the day." Miss Yukizome reassured her and I put a hand on Ibuki's shoulder.
"Don't worry Ibuki. We'll all be fine here together and we'll work things out. For now, just keep being your happy self." I told her while smiling.
