She pulled out the chair for me and we sat down."So you still talk to your ex-wife." "Nah she cut me off completely, won't even let me talk to my daughter." I felt bad. "You look cute.", I said. "Thank you.", she said while giggling. "What's funny?", I asked. "You." "How?" "Cause you know you can't stand me. So why u even accept this date?" I was gonna lie and say I can't stand her. "I don't know why you think that. I actually miss you a little." I was missed her a lot. "You for real? You don't miss me.", she said while smiling. "I actually do." "You still love me?" I knew this question was coming. "No, but I got love for you." I lied. "So you do love me" "No Jay, there's a difference between the two." She laughed again.

"Why you keep laughing dude?", I said with a serious face. "You know you cute as fuck when you get mad." She reached her hand out to grab my face. I smacked her hand. "Don't touch me." "Why you acting like that?", she asked while smiling. Her smile was so sexy."Cause you ain't shit." She put her hands in her face. "Baby, I'm not the same. I've learned my lesson and stopped fucking around on females emotions." I didn't believe her. "Lying ass. You probably got a bitch at home waiting for you." "Nah I'm single and I live by myself in a big ass house." Jay does have money and I mean a lot. She's a pharmacist. "Yeah whatever."

The food came to the table and I was ready to eat. "So what about you Rose?" "What about me?",I said while holding a fork in my hand. "You got somebody? Where you stay?" "I just got kicked out my ex-boyfriend's" "Why?" "Why you worried about it?" "Cause I care about you." I never heard Jay tell me this, it caught me off guard. "We had an argument that's all. "Where you stay at now?", she asked. "With a friend." "Come stay with me." I wanted to say ok but I'm not giving in this time. "No." "Why?" She reached for my hand. "Cause you gotta show me you deserve me." "What you want me to do?" I just stared at her. "I'm not telling you." "Ok, cool imma show you I changed for the better."

(10:30pm)

We talked the whole time there. I really didn't want to go. "Your check", the waiter said. I pulled out my purse. "Nah baby I got this.", Jay said. I smiled but she didn't see me. Maybe she is changing for the better but I'm gonna have to see.

"Where your car at?", Jay asked. "Over there." She walked me to my car but before I could I get in she kissed me. I felt butterflies all over again. I wanted to push her off of me but I just let it happen. "See you soon?", she asked. "Maybe" and I pulled off.
