(The next day 10:00am)

I checked my phone and had a notification. It was Jay.

*What you doing today?*
*Going to work. What about you?*
*What time you get off?*
*7. Why?*
*I wanna see you today. Where you work at?*
*Ok and at the mall*
*Ok, Imma see you later*

I got up to get ready for work. I didn't really do nothing to my hair cause I was feeling lazy. I got to work and I was sure not feeling it.

(6 hours into work) Jay texted my phone.

*What store you work in?*

"Are these bags yours?" I asked a costumer. "Yes, thank you", they replied. "Baby?" I knew that was Jay. "Hey". She walked into the store with bags. "What's that?", I asked. "I did a little shopping but you'll see when you get off work" "Ok, I only got 30 mins left" "I'll be waiting for you outside." "Ok"

When I got off worked I walked outside in front of the mall. Jay pulled up. "Get in." When
I got in the car she handed me the bags. "What is this." "Look and see", she said. It was laced panties and a laced bra. In the other bad it was a long box. I opened it and it was a necklace. "How much was this?" I asked. "Why?" "I just want to know." "2,600 dollars." "Really Jay? I hope you don't thing material things will get make me give in." "No baby, I was just thinking about you, damn I can't shop for my girl?" "Yo girl? I'm not yours and you ain't mine." I wanted to be hers but not soon. "Yeah I know, I'm sorry I won't say it again.", she said. "Can you come to place for a movie night?", she asked. "Yeah when I get home and freshen myself up.", I said. "Ok", she replied.

When I got to the house I laid on the couch thinking to myself do I really wanna be involved with this girl again. I don't wanna be hurt again. Then I got a text from Chris.

*Can you come over and talk to me?I miss you*

I have a good dude on my hands and a girl I had a bad past with. I don't know who to choose.
