You were tired. Scratch that, you were exhausted. Children were hard work, especially if they're accidentally hyped up on Skittles. You tried putting Thea, yours and Shawn's baby girl, to sleep, but nothing worked. She just wanted to play. She started jumping on the bed as your eyes drooped closed. "Thea, baby. Please come sleep." You mumbled sleepily.

You felt a little peck on your cheek and a small blanket being thrown over you. "Night, night mommy." A tiny voice whispered.
Then, the world became dark.

You shot up quickly, remembering that Thea, your four year old baby girl was alone. Jumping out of bed, you ran to the living room. On your way, you passed the baby room,where Thea sleeps. There, you heard a soft, angelic voice sing. You walked in, smiling at your husband of three years, sitting next to him. You were so relieved when you saw him.

"I came home to find you out like a light, a tiny blanket covering you." Shawn laughs. He pecks your lips sweetly. "Thea was watching Spongebob on the couch. It was the cutest thing."

"I must've dozed off, how'd you get Thea to sleep?" You asked, a yawn escaping your lips. Shawn laughed and pulled you onto his lap.

"I just told her that Daddy was gonna sing to her if she gets into bed." He shrugged nonchalantly. You laughed and kissed Shawn on his lips.

He begins to sing once more. "Well, she always was a Daddy's girl." You mumble, smiling.

"So are you, baby." Shawn smirks down at you. "Always, Daddy." You smirk right back. He quickly captures your lips in a kiss and pulls away, resting his forehead on yours, smiling.

He rubs Thea's back gently as she sleeps. You rest your head on Shawn's shoulder, burying your face in the warm crook of his neck. Slowly, he's beautiful voice lulled you to a sleep once more.

"My beautiful girls." He whispers, as he closes his eyes, content with his life.
