wedding(✅)(🌸)

Shawn smiles down at me, his cheeks red. Mine are red too, since it's been a very eventful day. It is our wedding after all. He walks over to me and turns me so that I face the stage in the reception hall. He covers my eyes and whispers in my ear.

"I have a special guest here to sing your favourite song. He's coming to sing the same song we had our first dance to at prom 4 years ago."

My breath hitches in my throat as I realise who it is.

I hear the curtains open and Shawn uncovers my eyes, moving his hands to my waist from behind me. His hands rub my enlarged belly where our child was growing.

The beautiful melody of a guitar and I smile up at him as Ed Sheeran begins to sing.

'Ohhhhh misty eye of the mountain below...'

Shawn spins me around and places one hand on my waist and the other, he encloses his hand over mine.

He starts swaying us and puts his forehead against mine gently. I smile up at him and he twirls me around as Ed's voice flows through the crowd around us.

'I see fire, inside the mountain. I see fire, burning the trees."

We laugh as he tilts me and kisses my nose. He pulls me up and twirls me in his arms and sways with me in that position, his strong arms comforting.

'And I see fire, hollowing souls. I see fire, blood in the breeze."

"And I hope that you remember me."
'And I hope that you remember me.'

Shawn and Ed's voices swirl together smoothly.

Shawn and I dance as the song slowly comes to an end.

'And if the night is burning I shall cover my eyes.'

Shawn kisses my lips and smiles into the kiss. He moves his tongue over my bottom lip, asking for entrance which I grant. (Imagine if you said, 'you shall not pass'😂😂)

'For if the dark returns then my brothers will die.'

People around us starts clapping.

And as the sky is falling down, it crashed into this lonely town. And with that shadow upon the ground, I hear my people screaming out...'

Shawn and Ed and I, sing.

'I see fire, inside the mountain. I see fire, burning the trees. I see fire, hollowing souls. I see fire, blood in the breeze. '

And this was how it started. With a simple song of beautiful chords and flowing voices.

Shawn kisses my forehead and whispers in time with Ed.
