New year, new me. I know, I know. How, cliché. But it's whatever. Anyway, it's a new year and I am attending a new school. Yay, me! Note the sarcasm.

I walk into the school building, which may I add is humongous, and use a map they gave to find my first class. Lucky for me, it's my favorite, English.

I walk into the class about ten minutes late and I am met with a short female teacher with a huge bun on her head. She looks about twenty-something so she's basically a teenager. Oh great, I'm going to be taught things I already know by someone who hasn't even gone through puberty yet. How fun.

"Good morning miss, I am the new student (y/n)" I say while awkwardly trying to check out the class. We have the usual array of dumbasses, jocks, Barbie's and nerds. How totally not cliché at all.

"Oh, hi uhm...(y/n) so I am Ms Harrison and uh you can uhm take a seat right next to uhh Shawn." I roll my eyes at the teacher's annoyingly squeaky voice and timid nature and move to find this Shawn guy. No doubt a jock.

I finally find this Shawn guy when he raises his hand. He's cute. I sit next to him and he turns to face me with a smile. I frown at him. He smells good. Why'd I just think that?!

His face crumples cutely into a frown.

"Why are you not smiling?"

"I don't like smiling."

"But smiling at people is polite, you know."

"I hate people and politeness."

"I'm Shawn."

"I'm busy"

"You're mean, I like that." He smirks. Hot damn.

"Shawn?"

"Yeah?"

"Shut up."

"Okay."

I get out my books and pens to start with my work. Shawn is actually quiet as I work. Until he taps me on my shoulder.

"So, you're really pretty." He says, playing with his fingers.

"Uhm thank you?" I say, uncertainly. C'mon, I'm an average looking teenage girl that was just complemented by a freaking Calvin Klein looking guy, so of course I'm a bit uncertain.

"So, did it hurt?"

Holy mother, is he really using this fuck boy move on me? Damn.

I roll my eyes as I say, "Let me guess; did it hurt when I fell from heaven?"

Shawn smirks (does he ever stop), and says,

"No, did it hurt when you fell for me?"
